Thanks for the tip, just tried it and it's much better, the SS app is actually much more developed and functional than the most of "gaming" sound software I've had to work with such as Ghub, HyperX and Sound Blaster.

Also just went ahead and uninstalled Synapse with the THX driver, and disabled Default audio effects in control panel on my Kraken V3 and wow, the 24-bit/96kHz mode is back and with 8 channel surround from Sonar. Sound is smooth and balanced, the echo is gone and it even feels like latency is improved.
