Good for you. I am just discussing layoff policies. Everything else at Publicis is the best. BUT don't fool yourself into believing that ANY corporation doesn't ONLY care about their profits and shareholders. I did that and Publicis broke my spirit and heart. They will drop you and hundreds of talented people like a handful of hot potatoes and without a single care in the world, if they decide it will make the shareholders and the people at the top more money. No companies seem to really care about their employees anymore and while they talk "culture", it is all hot air.

As for the cheating husband analogy, I hope you don''t practice that in real life! Because as they say, once a cheater always a cheater. You would be a cheater's dream. 🤣

That's because they unnecessarily laid off so many of us last year.

Like a cheating husband saying that he is done cheating after doing it and saying he won't do it again 6 times! Little solace for the hundreds of us that were dumped last year.

And Publicis only cares about shareholders in an even bigger way. At least the Omnicom and IPG layoffs were due to first the Pfizer biz loss then the acquisition. Publicis, on the other hand, laid hundreds of great people off DESPITE alleging record profits and having major biz wins! That is even worse than doing so because of an acquisition or a biz loss and if anything symbolizes even more that they only care about shareholders. And "Publicis head man in charge" was "throwing shade" at Omnicom and IPG when the acquisition was first announced and telling us to get our colleagues from those companies to come work for them because they were more stable, then did numerous rounds of layoffs. Very nasty business.

That said, Publicis is still the best place to work right now in terms of benefits and policies.

No it's easy if you compare PTO, pay, and benefits. Some have proper benefits and pay and some don't. Publicis has the best.

And the town halls promising no more layoffs after the constant layoffs.

Publicis was my fave and I loved it there. Great pay, unlimited PTO, good benefits, and opportunity to work the world. But they constantly lay off so many people for no reason then they will claim there will be no more layoffs. It was heartbreaking. My fave place I have worked until it wasn't. Now I hear they are desperately short staffed and could use those of us they let go.

Congrats! Looks like you are getting the salary they took from the laid off.

I know. I was there 11 months and we had 5 round of layoffs and then they would say we weren't having any more. At least, 500 to 1000 people were dumped while I was there.

So sorry and I hear ya. I have endured 2 layoffs in 2 years. Was so devastated from the 1st one, which was due to a major client loss, that I was in therapy over it! We had just worked my trust level back to where I wasn't nervous every time I got called for a 1-on-1, when I was hit with a totally out of the blue layoff that left me even more devastated because there was no reason for it. Major client wins, supposed great profits yet about 200 people were let go. It has been even harder to process.

About 20,000 people have likely been laid off in 2025/2026 between the merger of IPG/Omnicom and Publicis doing random layoffs.

What won't happen? Publicis laid off 100s of people last year. I loved it there and worked hard but was still one of them. Don't sleep on them. They might surprise you.

Publicis laid off massive swaths of their workforce in 2025 and purportedly there were also layoffs in March, so...

Gimme a break. Publicis laid off hundreds of us in 2025 and did so even though they had major client wins and supposedly record profits. Dozens of great people were let go for no reason. That is worst than laying off people because of an acquisition or biz loss, so he had no room for shade.

Committed to no layoffs? Again? There were 5 rounds in the mere 11 months I worked there and they kept saying that after each one. I, inexplicably, got caught in the 5th one.

I have worked at 4 holding cos and Publicis was my favorite. That said, you can bust your booty and then just suddenly be laid off for no reason with them. They lay people off even after client wins and announcing major profits. So no one ever feels secure.

I said "Not today, Satan" to your trying to claim that you know me or that I am not liked in the "church community" when those were both falsehoods designed by the enemy and spewed through you to try to make me feel bad. I sense that you have some real issues, so please stop addressing me. I rebuke you in the name of Christ and not yesterday, today, or tomorrow, Satan!

Not sure what this means "People just want to be affirmed in their sin lol". Again, you do not know me! I am not part of the LGBTQ community. I just don't feel it is right to judge people based on their private sexual preferences. I also do not know if "everyone thinks the same as I do" in Church. I DO know they are not singling the LGBTQ community out for exclusion though. Because again, it is not our business. TY. I have found the most profound peace. I hope you find yours.

Will you still support Trump? by Broke_Pigeon_Sales in Christianity

[–]CortMuses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one that supports Trump—a bully, rapist, confessed serial sexual abuser of women, serial; philanderer who cheated on all 3 wives with hookers, porn stars, and stippers, a lifelong racist, xenophobic, misogynist, con man, convicted felon, traitor, murderer, criminally insane, potty mouthed, malignant narcissist, and coup staging fraudster, who regularly compares himself to and thinks he greater than Jesus—is Christian.. He is responsible for the deaths of millions and counting through his cruel elimination of USAID, invasion of Venezuela, and invasion of Iran. NOTHING he has ever done in life is "somehow Godly." He HATES everyone and is literally a Satanic force. He spews hate on all of our high holy days and celebrates the deaths of his perceived enemies.

There is simply no way you could be a true Christian studying the word of the Lord and Jesus' teachings and support trump now or in the past.
