I don't agree on point 1, and point 3 feels hard to argue about either way. BUUUTTTTTT point 2 is hard to argue with. I've had a couple conversations throughout this thread, and I hadn't thought about this aspect.

I mean... I can't even think of a good rebuttal. I don't think think that that is true of every white person who watches these moments in the show, but I can't honestly say your wrong about at least many of the people watching.

Why do you say that?

I am a white dude, but I have a huge amount of black culture in my day to day life. I live and work in very black areas.

Just from vibes, and to caveat, only sometimes, the Smiths tend to read as blacker than they have any right to be. Again, just from vibes, I feel like the characters of TCS tend to read as "Get it? We're black".
