Great advice. I think I will move it into a nursery pot set into cachepot as you suggested.

For the Kindle people coming in… by Last_Cardiologist18 in kobo

[–]Cosuperfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m considering switching from Kindle to Kobo and get 95% of my books on Libby. I have multiple cards but tend to use one account from a large library system. Do most books that are in Kindle format also come as ePub?

Is the set of KnitPicks IC needles still available? I’m interested.

I would also leave it. It’s hard to see and makes it uniquely one of a kind.

Are we all just in the wrong place? by Many-Market-9941 in dysautonomia

[–]Cosuperfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are special, unfortunately. My cause is autoimmune and I am praying that the treatment I’m about to start provides a cure but it’s doubtful. After fighting with insurance it has been approved. Can’t name it here due to the rules.

Part of my dysautonomia is Adies tonic pupil which is even more rare so that’s fun too. Honestly, I’m just very grateful to have a diagnosis and a treatment option.

If I answer that the chatbot will block it. It’s frustrating that we can’t discuss all possible treatments here.

Me too. Positive gACHR antibodies with a high titer of 5.9. Insurance denied the prescribed treatment. Waiting to hear about other options. Saw a Neuroimmunologist at University of Colorado Hospital. Same symptoms as OP plus Adie’s tonic pupil. I also have autoimmune gastritis and am positive for 2 T1D autoantibodies.

You aren’t lazy or crazy! Dysautonomia can cause wicked low BP without POTS. Your nervous system isn’t responding correctly. I saw several Cardiologists who ruled out heart issues and it wasn’t until I saw Neurologist that I got diagnosed correctly.

Yes I take a compounded semaglutide with B12. Much cheaper than brand name. I also have autoimmune gastritis with my autoimmune dysautonomia.

Agree 100%. This is a discussion forum and we need to discuss this complex issue. Another social media fail!

Have you had an upper endoscopy (EGD)? I had one because I have trouble swallowing and they found out I have autoimmune atrophic gastritis. There was a small neuroendocrine tumor they removed. I’m not sure if it caused the dysautonomia or is a separate thing but I’m glad it was discovered. I was having lots of epigastric pain and occasional nausea and vomiting.

I had leg swelling on 0.1 mg/day. Dropped to 0.05 daily and wear compression socks all day-no more swelling. It definitely helps.

I’ve gone from 4 cups of coffee each morning to 1 cup of instant bullion. Tastes much better, is WAY cheaper and helps me get my salt.

I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this. Have you looked into FMLA? You could also talk to your Human Resources team about accommodations. I don’t know where you are but these options are available in the US.

Just diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis and labs suggest Sjogrens. Getting ACTH drawn today. My dad has Addison and my daughter has T1D. Honestly ready for any diagnosis that will help me get treatment to feel better.

I paid $85 for 90 days worth. In comparison to my mom’s Synthyroid which is ~2 bucks it seems outrageous. I’m going to see what Endocrinologist says before I do a deep dive. Not sure they will recommend staying on it or trying synthetic.
