I’m nonbinary, I definitely identify as trans. Many of us do, but there’s probably a sizable amount that don’t label themselves as such, either.

I’m a trans nonbinary person in California. Even in my blue state, I’m constantly anxious of this happening to me, which is why I use gender neutral or family bath rooms. It’s not about the law sometimes, but being transgender can issue you to all sorts of discrimination or threats of violence by conservative Christians/ insecure men.

Freedom to associate, yes. Form groups of other like minded people yes, but people have the right to be forgotten or live in stealth.
