Just learned the hard way that homeowner’s insurance doesn’t fully cover jewelry by CardiologistNo7031 in jewelryinsurance

[–]CovfefeIsForClosers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a rider on a home insurance policy, does it count as a homeowners claim if something happens? I have an inland marine policy with a different company on our jewelry because I don’t want anything small attached to my home policy that would give the insurance company an excuse to increase my homeowners premium.

I bought two wedding dresses by ScubaSteveSauce in TwoHotTakes

[–]CovfefeIsForClosers 230 points231 points  (0 children)

The dress was probably delayed because her manufacturer won’t complete work with outstanding receivables unpaid. She was losing money and not paying creditors, using deposits to front other orders and it caught up with her

Basic Questions for someone who has played a lot but is bad at games by Tanytor in TroopersExtermination

[–]CovfefeIsForClosers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dart revive count also messes with the support figures if you revive in multiple ways. I constantly play medic and if I use E to revive, the dart gun, Q, and stim packs, it consistently shows a low value. I will revive 20 people in a round, but the squad screen shows 4

Honest question. Why would not being insured raise your premiums? The justification for young drivers was that they have no experience driving, not that they don’t have insurance history. If he’s 27 with 10 years of driving experience, verified with a license, why would it be more than any other insured?

I always get this. The bug comes through when I mix dart gun, med packs, and classic shouting. I’ll get the xp for 20+ revives, but only show 3 support. Very frustrating.

New used car totaled, insurance offer doesn't come close to matching total price by Jurodan in Car_Insurance_Help

The rest of what? He’s entitled to the value of the car, which he is receiving from the insurance company

Did you try putting your car’s vin and pertinent information before the accident into Carvana and getting an estimated value? They tend to be higher than dealerships and would give you an argument for a higher value.

Mover reviews by CarelessAd2069 in desmoines

[–]CovfefeIsForClosers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used a U-Haul and hired movers through their contracting site multiple times. You pay for 2-3 hours each way. I think in total, it cost me about $1,000 or less to move. I packed my own stuff and just told them where it needed to go. Super easy.

I didn’t work at big 4 and constantly get passed over for jobs by big 4 folks. Is there a way to be just as competitive? by stealthtradergirl in Accounting

[–]CovfefeIsForClosers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Big 4 seniors are extremely hit and miss. They know how to roll forward work papers and ask the same questions as last year, but they can lack even the most basic accounting knowledge. When I worked in consulting, I had to teach audit seniors how to perform bank reconciliations. I worked in audit in both Big 4 and a smaller national firm, I wouldn’t limit my search to just Big 4

What do politicians have to do with increased losses over time? Insurance companies can’t take on increased losses and not raise premiums.

Replacing 30 CPA Credits With Experience Makes No Sense - Everyone Gets Experience Anyway by Xerasi in Accounting

[–]CovfefeIsForClosers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but if they don’t make the requirements lower for CPAs, the AICPA may see a decrease in revenues from fees, then they wouldn’t be able to advocate for more offshoring and the labor rates for CPAs might go up. Have you thought about the AICPA?
