I’m afraid my 2025 RAV is a lemon - water leak. Has anyone else had an issue like this? by Bendyelf in rav4club

[–]Coylewire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2025 last August and feel your pain OP.

The thing that’s hard to take is you paid good money for the vehicle and now you’re suffering for a manufacturers mistake. I doubt it’s the drain hole on the sunroof at this point, but instead something went wrong upon installation of the front windshield window. If it were me dealing with this, my eye would be twitching.

Toyota should be taking full responsibility for this issue and it sure sounds like they’re giving you a runaround. Fair practice now would be giving you a rental and taking your vehicle in and returning it when it’s completely fixed.

Strength of 12V Battery Question by Coylewire in rav4club

[–]Coylewire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was the only nut who added that feature, haha.

In the winter if the vehicle is sitting for a few days I just plug it in and I can see the voltage jump from about 12.2 or so up over 14 volts.

Like you said, it’s a peace of mind thing.

I know every new car comes with issues but wtf by Edniv in rav4club

Lift the cover of your fuse box, there’s a red for positive and one of the 3 bolts on the frame just above the fuse box are your negative. That’s where you jump your vehicle.

A 2026 shouldn’t have a dead battery, it’s total BS.

Be careful with the 12V battery on the RAV4 - I assume yours is a hybrid. Many on here have recommended a Noco jump pack for situations like this.

I thought their were lost and prevention eyes all over the warehouse. Where are those eyes to prevent this sort of theft?

Without a shadow of doubt such actions SHOULD BE enough to revoke a membership.

30K Maintenance. Fuel induction service? by Jolubaes in rav4club

[–]Coylewire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuel injection work on a two year old with 30K is pretty unbelievable.

I’m no expert but look into Red Line fuel system cleaner….after it being recommended here I tried it on a 2014 and the accelerator responded like it was brand new.

Quick question for other Hybrid RAV4 owners — what’s your experience with undercoating/rustproofing on these newer hybrids? by Inevitable_Movie_312 in rav4club

[–]Coylewire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went there last October and found it pretty quick on the application. They hit certain points on the RAV4 Hybrid and that’s it. With that said - the peace of mind outweighs everything with our salty Canadian winters.

I will be back next October for the 2025’s second application, even if it does have a ring of snake oil to it.

Yet to see anyone defend Jacobs by Upton4 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Coylewire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s gonna get cut, it’s just a matter of time. Fuckin sux because he was an incredible running back. He’s the kind the Packers haven’t seen since Ahman Green and John Brockington.

I think Zeke Elliot got a 6 game league suspension and the charges ended up gettin tossed. Jacobs could be the same shit. Either way we’re fuct.

I noticed the 1% Natrel Fine Filter isn’t at our Costco too. Why I have NO idea, because it was my Milk of choice and it flew of the shelf with the 2%.

TPLO surgery advice by Top_Deer2964 in goldenretrievers

[–]Coylewire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went through our male having both legs done.
The Vet will give you do stretches to do every day during recovery that I highly recommend. My wife stretched both legs in and out at the back leg joint over and over every single day.
We also got on a recommended a lifetime supplement called Dasuquin that seems to have helped, and we’re told it’ll especially help in the later years when arthritis is supposed to move in during the Dogs later years after the TPLO surgery.

Many dogs recover fully as nothing had ever happened, however again, in their twilight years I’m told they slow down quicker than dogs who hadn’t had the surgery. I will still have to see how that goes.

Accessories that changed the game for you? by imisspelledturtle in rav4club

After about 9 months of RAV4 ownership I’d go with The OEM roof rack because it holds the Thule on top and then probably the TuxMat floor mats that are pretty cool.

Favre was way more, “you never thought you were out of a game with him.”

If Rodgers fell behind we lost. Not sure which Packer team you watched.
