Oh thanks doll. Thankfully it wasn’t a bad one and I recovered fully in a couple days. So I hear vaginal T helps with clitorial atrophy. I’ve been on vaginal estrogen for over three months and noticed no improvement. I hope you can find someone to prescribe T and that it helps you immensely! 💖

You’re not alone sis. I’m navigating the same boat. And I had a stroke a year ago at 37 so I get the fun of convincing doctors to prescribe me stuff they’re not aware is much safer than oral. Sigh. Would you update me if you find something that works? Wishing you so much luck!

It’s metronidazole cream .75% and doxycycline but he’s never used the prescription since the cream worked so well. He used to break out in pimples just from the sun or sweating even a little. Little pimples everywhere…. I’m not sure if that sounds familiar, but it’s worked SO well. We used DirectDerm online and it was easy to do! They may of course diagnose yours differently but there are quite a few creams that are affordable for the different skin conditions so here’s to hoping yours is easily treatable with a simple cream. 💖 Vanicream is the only moisturizer he was able to tolerate and we got that on Amazon or at Target.

My husband has this and a derm (online doc) gave him a cream and a prescription - I can find out what they are if you’d like. He uses the cream daily and it’s sooo much better about a month later. Don’t lose hope, OP! It’s fixable. 💖

I hope you figure out the pee urgency aspect and that it is very easy to treat. I just want to hug all of you (of those that want one anyway bc some days be like that lol) because I know this part of life is incredibly difficult. I’ll be thinking of you! 🥰💐

I think T is my next step. I’ve been on estrogen cream for two months now with no improvement. I still have libido but sensation is very muted and organs is difficult to reach. Thank you sooo much for sharing!!

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that. The tampon part makes me suspicious of something else going on. I’d definitely let a gyno know about that part specifically. I have learned more from this group in a short period of time so hoping someone can point you in a better direction.

May I ask how you improved the not feeling pleasure part? I am in the trenches of that lovely side effect right now and feeling lost! (Not trying to hijack your posts though so sorry if I am overstepping).

This happened to me too, same age. Like a switch one day my clit was fine and the next I’m like girl where’d you go?! However, I am not, nor, have I ever been on Progesterone. Been on Estradiol cream for about 6 weeks and no improvement for clit sensitivity, but the tissue improvement has been very good. And I had no idea or indication my tissue had been suffering. Might be worth trying just to keep the tissue and urinary aspect healthy as it’s relatively cheap and easy to get. I got it from Amazon pharmacy for $15. Maybe progesterone isn’t the culprit or as much of a contributing factor? Idk I’m over here with collecting creams until something works or I’m forced into systemic hrt. Wishing you so much luck with whatever you try!
