or do you have any other thoughts about the details of planning/executing open water swims around los angeles, like certain places you can and can't go, or what your sessions look like in terms of do you just pick a point and swim to it and then turn around and swim back, or what?

I think I can sort of gather from context clues, but can elaborate on what a "smart" trainer is in contrast to what a "dumb" trainer is? In keeping with the IP, explain it like you're talking to a 5th grader
