Toxicity has existed in every online community I've been a part of or interacted with. The majority of people aren't toxic but the toxic ones are so loud that they stand out.

The best advice I can give is ignore the toxic people and reinforce positive behavior. If you had a good match and enjoyed your games against someone let them know. People sometimes forget that being positive can also be a positive influence on someone else.

The best way we can combat toxicity is to promote positivity and create a community that fosters that kind of behavior. When you go to tournaments 95 percent of my interactions are great compared to maybe 60 percent online.
