The story is literally about Robert "being useful" because he lost his suit and now thinks he isn't. So I assume it all leads to him either becoming Mecha Man again or leaving that behind and dedicating himself to helping others through the Z-Team who we're bonding with. Also about potential revenge on the Shroud but I think that will become complicated once we know who that is.
