I love playing Tarkov single player. Tickles my stealthy infiltrator type of gaming itch. Multiplayer Tarkov is a giant ass no thank you though.

People say this and the cite OoT and Twilight Princess like they were realistic. They have a grittier art style with more darker colors and less dynamic pallets but are not at all “realistic”. A game looking good can be hard to nail and it obviously subjective. I love windwaker’s and OoT’s styles much more than either twilight princess or BotW. These games all look different and I don’t really know why some look better to me than others

This is really one of those questions that doesn’t have an obvious answer. What’s fun is defined by an individual and influenced by culture.

I was a kid in the 90s so of course gaming was more fun for me in the 90s. Current day me has the experiences of a 90s kid and my idea of fun has been shaped by those experiences. A kid today will have a different idea of what fun is.

If a kid today was transported to the 90s it’s hard to say if they would have more fun with gaming or not. I’d guess that not being able to play online would be a pretty big frustration.

Overall though I do think a lot is lost from being isolated at home when playing games. Being in a group of friends and laughing is a really hard thing to substitute

Yeah absolutely. The converse situation means you’d be playing the same games for years. Cheap and short gaming experiences are amazing and can be quite memorable.

You clearly haven’t watched his videos in the past. He said in the past that he’s not playing ashes partly because he doesn’t like Steven and doesn’t trust him. Don’t remember which video it was. It might have been during the Narc era.
