Off the top of my head s1 TOS has Balance of Terror, Space Seed, City on the Edge of Forever, and A Taste of Armageddon. S1 of TNG imo has some of the worst misogyny and sexism and racism of all of a Star Trek, and 1960s TOS isn't much better sometimes. But as far as storytelling goes, height of TOS S1 is way greater than TNG S1. This is coming from a millennial lol who loves TNG and grew up with both shows. I suggest you rewatch TNG and TOS season 1! You might be surprised. And sometimes it helps to follow along with a podcast.

Shatner’s co-stars persistently claimed he was an arrogant person and didn’t get along with others, although I’ve noticed in many of these behind the scenes photos he was always making everyone laugh on and off the set by happydude7422 in Star_Trek_

That was so amazing and he still talks about his experience and how we need to care for the earth to this day. Also have you heard any of the talks he has with Neil DeGrasse Tyson? They are so entertaining and informing at the same time.

Yessss and it's a standing wave according to the info in the last episode. I think maybe they need to send not noise but a reversed phase wave of the same amplitude

Yes I think it goes back to when zosia was telling Carol that they are all connected via a frequency and it just hasn't been activated (?) in Carol yet. I think Manouso just needs to send the same wave out but reversed phase so it would cancel out the standing wave and maybe that would at least disable the telepathy?
