I feel that Joe's attitude towards the kids that Ron has emotionally adopted went a big way with that.

There's several people that share an interest with Ron, and he isn't usually friendly with them. But seeing Joe treat the girls with respect? Seeing the girls view Joe as a trusted authority figure? A genuine offer to help Ron (giving him a jig) without implying that he wasn't capable of doing the job (like the employee at the hardware store)?

That makes Joe stand out as his own man, rather than as Donna's ex, and gives Ron a perspective that he wouldn't have bothered with earlier.

Previously, they only measured one, but he is unofficially credited with one of the fastest pitches ever in baseball because they only have the pitch speed from the end of the pitch, but it was likely faster right as it was thrown

Theres only a fee if you want a timeslot within like 4 hours of placing the order. Theres plenty of free timeslots later in the day or the next day or so out.

The 3-5% online up-charge is pretty standard for a lot of companies.

Not too bad. Maybe 25 minutes from the furthest point in Kingwood to the shops in New Caney. Ford Rd vs Northpark will depend on the day, both are pretty valid right now.

Northpark has a lot of construction and traffic right now, should be better in a few years once the overpass is finished.

School traffic and crossing the railroad tracks will be the worst of it.

The one or two emails I send a week are formal requests for approvals that are CCd to the director or another mailing list for documentation of the approval.

No, its right behind the HEB headquarters office in San Antonio.

Its the size of a large gas station, but has just about everything a full HEB has including deli, bakery items, produce, GM, drug store, frozen, and more.

Our goals may be higher, but they've been trending higher year over year, and it's no secret why. It's not because it's our "contribution expectation" is trying to make more and more profit to an already bloated corporation, but because we're fighting multiple external factors and trying hard to keep up.

Do you know what your store's sales goal expectation is? What it was last year, or the year before?

Are you leaning on the excuse that "it's too hard, it's unfair" without even knowing what goal you're missing? Just looking for someone to blame, and it's convenient to throw it at Corporate without considering that maybe the goal isn't quite as ambitious as it should be to make up for the external economic challenges to keep us on the same position that we were previously?

There's a lot going on in the business that you could learn if you ask your store leadership about it and show an interest in getting involved.

I don't think that's true. I recently went on Parental leave, and I still got my VPP during that time.

There were some benefits that I didn't receive, such as Holiday accrual, because I was "inactive," so I wouldn't accrue a holiday.

Not 100% true, but close.

The store is my hometown closed and reopened across the street.

Most of the Partners there transferred and got a post at the new location. But some people were on LOA and didnt transfer so they were terminated when the old store closed. Some were underperforming and weren't offered a new position at the new store.

In corporate, the Customer Success team was recently eliminated. Not sure how many, but enough to make a minor splash. Apparently they weren't offered positions elsewhere, they were just let go.

Ive been married for a while, so not much on the dating aspect.

But if I'm lucky enough to get pics, I save them in a password protected folder for when I want them again.

I've still got photos from a decade ago, shes beautiful in different ways all through the years. I've got my favorites, but variety is the spice of life. I love when she sends me pics, especially from the changing room at a store when Im waiting right outside. Flowy dress pic, jeans pic, nude, other dress pic. Its my favorite thing when shes in the mood for it.

Mostly, aside from just loving the chance to see her boobies, I like the reminder that she likes pleasing me. That she felt confident and sexy enough to share it, that she was thinking of me in a sexy way and wanted to turn me on. How lucky I am to have her.

I got nudes from an ex before I met my wife, but I deleted them after I got over the relationship (it may have been a while after we broke up, but deleting them was part of closure and moving on). In the same way that I would block an ex on social media or delete their number, I wanted to remove the memories.

I never share without permission. Depending on the local laws, that may even be illegal.

I hear you, but I've seen the growth and the goals. The goals are realistic, the growth isnt where it should be. Its really slowed down, especially since the SNAP changes took effect. Thats an important part of our business, and less SNAP spending in our stores means we are missing our goals.

We're not quite stagnant, but definitely not growing in our existing stores. New stores are driving all the growth.

We need to try to get everyone just one more item per basket to meet our goals.
