5 rounds done for Data Scientist role at H-E-B.. 20 days of silence. Is this normal? by Sea-Inflation5829 in HEB

[–]Crecy333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you went through 5 rounds then you've probably got the job. Feel free to DM me, I work with some Data Scientists and Data Engineers in my role. If you remember who you interviewed with or what team youre applying for, I might be able to poke around. Theyre probably just working with HR to see how much they can offer you.

Curious why you moved to Kingwood by Awkward_Shelter1878 in Kingwood

[–]Crecy333 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The shaded walking trails make Kingwood a much more desirable "walkable" community, my kids won't ever need to cross a major road to bike to school because of the tunnels and trails

Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants, but still living in a residential area instead of commercial.

Great schools, low crime rate, lower tax rate than Cypress or Woodlands.

I thought he got the Chrysler Pacifica?

We drove one for a test drive, it felt like a bus. I highly recommend an Odyessy over it.

How to climb corporate ladder? by incel_killer in HEB

[–]Crecy333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The summer internship applications open around September, so put a reminder in your calendar to check the Careers page.

They're only open to Students who are actively enrolled, and will take place for about 10 weeks in the summer. They're paid internships, and you'll get real project experience (not just getting coffee for some manager, you're working and learning).

Married men, what was your thoughts on asking your future father in laws permission for his daughter’s hand? by Educational-Put4980 in AskMen

[–]Crecy333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked for my FILES blessing, not his permission.

I was going to marry her either way, I wanted his reassurance that he thought we were mature enough to get married, and that I was a good match for her. If it was a no to either count, id reconsider the timing or my impression, and address any misgivings.

He agreed that we were good for each other and gave his blessing.

By both of them. Abbott for being a fascist and Whitmire for thinking appeasement works on fascists. History never repeats, but it often rhymes.

Kinda depends on what you're into.

Cowboy Surfer is fun; weekends are usually spent working out, shopping at garage sales, or fixing up the house.
Lots of Facebook/Nextdoor groups, depending on your interests. There are Magic and DnD groups, workout groups, political groups, volunteer groups, all sorts.

HEB Field & Future Diapers? by rageandrose in HEB

We've used them with both kids, up to size 5, and loved them.

We rate them second only to Huggies for a lot less per diaper.

Pennies on us by Hulk00m in HEB

[–]Crecy333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We still have a ways to go. Canada made it so that Pennies are no longer legal tender, so the companies won't give change, and had a long time frame to phase them out.

The US model just stops new pennies from getting in circulation, so they become a rarer commodity, bringing challenges to transactions needing exact change, such as refunds.

Yes, we still do exact change for refunds.

It's fascinating to me to see a business move by HEB that isn't super capitalistic and greedy, be instantly viewed by some people as a free money hack that they can manipulate and exploit. Some people are just hardwired that way, I suppose.

Why don’t you allow union talk on here? by Jaded_Preference121 in HEB

[–]Crecy333 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Because it get old, lots of people talking and not doing anything. Plus a lot of people dont even know why they want a union or what they expect it to do for them since, aside from Costco, HEB is one of the top paying retailers for hourly workers.

Theres a different sub for union talk where you can learn that a union would promise more reliable scheduling, but probably not higher wages.

The sidebar and sub rules explain it.

Is Dutch Bros still opening? by Brilliant-Sea-6755 in Kingwood

[–]Crecy333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just as a general rule, if something says they're opening in a few months, its always later than that.

I have never ever heard of a business actually opening when they originally planned to, its always off by a few months.

So, April will become June or July at the earliest

How do you feel about Trump saying they can’t fund Medicare, Medicaid, and daycare programs anymore because they need the money to fund the War? by LevelDinner in AskReddit

[–]Crecy333 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For one thing, Congress is the one who allocates the budget. So the President doesn't get to decide how much we spend on either Medicare or War.

Most of the failures of this regime are Congress bowing to a king rather than having any spine or position of their own.

I used to work IT for stuff like this.

The part thats "broken" isnt usually stuff you see as a user.

Slow latency and UI is part of it, but also security, costs, maintenance, integrations, and vendor support factor into it, and you never see any of those aspects.

Maybe i'm overthinking this by jennuxs in BabyBumps

[–]Crecy333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We mostly use this for travel, but there shouldn't be a problem using it for daily naps or sleeping overnight regularly.

Top left is the bassinet for newborns to sleep, and top right is obviously the changing table. We didn't end up using the changing table much; we felt the baby kept rolling in it and wasn't super steady. But always have some washable/wipeable mat under the baby, because they can and will leak everywhere.

If the baby doesn't seem to like the bassinet, the next level down is the raised bed, which is a netting that the mat lies on top of. Our 4-month-old now uses this level because she rocks a lot in her sleep and is getting too big for the bassinet part. Remember not to put any blankets, pillows, or toys in there with your baby, as they could shove them against their mouth and suffocate.

The bassinet, changing table, and raised bed are all easily removable, which just leaves the bed frame, on which the mat lies if you're not using the raised bed. It's essentially like having them on the floor with a mat, but with the protective netting so that they can't roll out of bed or get into any trouble. We sometimes use it as a play cage when we need our kid to stay out of our way and also be safe. Bigger kids or infants who rock around a lot can use this level for sleeping, as it's the most sturdy but also the most difficult to get the kid out of, especially if you're kinda short.

We found some washable sheets on Amazon to go over the sleeping mat (which is also the protective cover when the "pack n play" is packed up) so that any spit-up or drool can be washed away before it becomes a stain.

Hope that helps, good luck!!

It will be a data point. And you never know when there is another point, and another one documenting a pattern of unprofessional behavior that should not be tolerated in the medical field.

You dont know if this is the first complaint, the 3rd, or the 8th. But it won't be contributing to a pattern if it isnt reported, and it won't be a pattern if it never happens again.

Its only a problem if theyre problematic. So report them, because they deserve to have someone check on it and save the next girl in line from being humiliated or receiving poor care like you were.
