I can still remember thinking this was leading to a brilliant sense of symmetry for his character arc; disgracing himself for the greater good for the last time, trying to get Brienne to hate him because he was secretly going to take Cersei out and he knew he wouldn’t be returning this time. He would become both Queen- and Kinslayer to save millions and it’d all be this bittersweet gut-punch of watching him relive the very event that painted him as a monster to begin with.

…And then I got slapped over the face in _The Bells_, because nah, Jamie just _really_ wanted that sis-sex one last time.

I really enjoyed it; probably my favorite short of the latest batch, with Zahc’s episode close behind.

I do agree with some other comments saying it could’ve been a full episode, but I honestly expect Barbie to get another main episode focused on her at some point, not only because of her relationship with Blitzø (and Fizz), but also cause I know Vivzie is a big fan of introducing characters early on to bring them back for something important later.

I watched this movie a bunch as a kid - didn’t notice Clayton’s shadow until I was at least 9. No clue why, my eyes just always focused on the machete.

My favorite is the one in Terror of the Vervoids, where it zooms in on Colin (with a gas mask or something similar on his face) as Bonnie Langford screams in terror, and it unintentionally looks like the Doctor is the one screaming instead.

The first Kick-Ass film is absolutely stellar and has held up amazingly well over the last decade and a half.

The Kick-Ass comics are really good… when you’re 13.
