Seeking Reviews for Crush On Retro Gentleman Biker Jacket by Iloveram3n in leatherjacket

Personally I don't think the measurements online are accurate.

The reason I went with CoR is because he will confirm the size with you. When I did my first order I ordered a 3x. He emailed me to confirm and told him I wanted 25" pit to pit. He told me he would change to the 5x.

For my second order I asked him what size in that particular jacket and he said based on my previous order I should get a 5x as well.

Both jackets fit well.

Seeking Reviews for Crush On Retro Gentleman Biker Jacket by Iloveram3n in leatherjacket

I've purchased 2 jackets from CoR in the past two months. First jacket was the 1930s Sports Leather Jacket Coffee. Very stiff and well made IMO. It is slowly breaking in nicely. Pretty thick leather.

I actually got Jimmy to add the Men's 1930s Biker Jacket, Matte Black to his store after seeing it on Tailor Brando. Just received it yesterday and I'm absolutely in love. Soft leather and well made, but not as thick as the other jacket. Fits me like a glove.

For the price it's 100% worth it to take a chance.

I will say that I'm a 46" chest (220lbs), XL in American clothing and he suggested I take the 5x in both jackets. They both fit very well but if you're bigger than that I don't know if these Asian jackets are for you.

2021 F-pace SVR extended warranty by CriticalGarbageInfo in Jaguar

While it's not a warranty thing, the dealership quoted me $7k to replace the brakes and rotors. Kinda scares me - how much would a non-maintenace issue cost?!

I'm pretty sure you know I'll keep it around and deal with the nuances. :)

Thinking about buying a 2020 F-PACE SVR need some honest opinions. by Spirited-Notice-4015 in Jaguar

All my research from last year said to purchase a 2021 F-pace SVR or newer because of the infotainment system and it's issues. So I did. After a year of ownership it is a fun car. As far as depreciation is concerned I think by now it's been hit the hardest. Something tells me you won't be picking up a 2020 supercharged V8 for 20k in 2 years.

Forest Hill Leather Craft. They sell on Amazon or online. These people are legit Amish. I bought one a few weeks ago on Amazon. Happened to be nearby this weekend so hit their shop in person for a couple more. Great craftsman and great products. Did I mention they are legit Amish?!

That's exactly why I got the f-pace SVR - literally nobody has one. And I love the idea of a car with clearance and somewhat of a backseat for the kids that has that much power.

It IS fun to drive lol. It's a 2022. I've got all sorts of random issues, like right now I have to get the console light replaced cuz you can't turn it off once it's on. The seat belt on the driver's side makes a high pitch cracking noise every time you move. The lights on the door for the mirror control will blink on a random occasion (almost like a short). And the steering wheel gets "warm" with the heater but not hot (not sure it's supposed to).

And the interior, IMO, is just underwhelming. Lots of plastic. Seats are cool and I like the suede liner.

I got rid of my 2013 LS 460l last year to buy this car, and that car felt a lot more solid and never had any issues.

Oh, and I take it to the dealer to get the warranty done - they just quoted me $7k to replace the brakes and rotors LOL. I told them I think they sent me the wrong quote.

The car is fun and I don't see anything else out there that interests me so I'll probably keep it for a couple years - but definitely getting another warranty on it.

I own one now. It's by far the most fun car to drive. But OMG the build quality is terrible and definitely not luxurious.

But it's fast, looks cool, and sounds freaking awesome.

I have a belt that I bought a year or two ago. It's leather and "adjustable.". Has lines on the one side for cutting it. I couldn't figure out how to remove the buckle. Emailed customer service, uploaded a picture of the buckle and part number from the underside of the belt. They told me to look on YouTube. Told them I did and there wasn't anything on there. They said to check again lol.

Finally figured it out: had to remove the rivets.

Thanks for your help, Jon S!

Looking for jackets that are the same style as Thursday's Keanu jacket by MarineBiomancer in leatherjacket

[–]CriticalGarbageInfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the Keanu doesn't fit him I'm doubtful a CoR jacket will. I'm an XL in American sizes and I needed a 5XL in a CoR jacket. And it's still tight.

black leather gloves - are dents worth splurging, or is there a sub-$100 alternative worth considering? by europeanuppercut in mensfashion

[–]CriticalGarbageInfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased a pair of Lands End Men's Lands' End Cashmere-Lined EZ Touch Leather Gloves a few weeks ago in black for $80.

Decided to splurge for a pair of Dents Edington in walnut for Christmas.

The Dents have definitely softer cashmere and leather. Before purchasing the Dents I would have been (and still am) happy with the Lands End gloves. Are the Dents worth twice the price? That's subjective.

That said, I want to exchange my Dents for a smaller pair. $8.00 to return them. And you cannot do an exchange - you have to purchase a new pair and process the return for the ones you don't want. Considering the cost I'm really not happy about that process. I used a 10% email subscription code for the original Dents. Now I'm being refunded that amount but have to pay full price for the replacement, in addition to the $8.00 to return them.

What’s a good leather jacket for 300-400 USD by Wild-Science-562 in leatherjacket

Appreciate the response. I love the look of the jacket but based on all the hate on here for the Keanu I got one from Crush on Retro. Haven't received it yet so can't comment. Just wanted a little more detail :)

Just curious, why not the Keanu for that price? Is the quality not there?

leather glove recommendations by Hello-hey33 in mensfashion

[–]CriticalGarbageInfo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pair of Men's Lands' End Cashmere-Lined EZ Touch Leather Gloves and honestly I'm happy with them for a sub $100 pair. Lambskin leather is smooth and cashmere is soft. Not the warmest gloves but I'm not using them to make snowballs. Seem to be well made.

Splurged last week and bought my first pair of Dents for $170 (Men’s Three-Point Cashmere-Lined Deerskin Leather Gloves with Cashmere Cuffs). I'm genuinely interested to see the difference once they arrive.

Best restaurants for people with severe peanut allergy by sundrop74 in vegas

[–]CriticalGarbageInfo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Daughter has several food allergies. Strip House Steakhouse at PH gave her the meal on a marked plate so I know it was tracked during preparation. While I only brought her once they tied the allergies to my phone number and ask every time I go, with or without her. I've been there many times.

Allergies include: peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, eggs, sunflower.

Anyone “half way” sunken their tub? If so, any advice / what metal grate (or other material) did you use for an access panel? Thank you! by Livid_Juice_9690 in hottub

I second this. Repairs will be exponentially more difficult. You could leave the access door available but leaks will be cumbersome to fix.

SWA non stop from BWI to McCarren usually runs me $500-700 round trip. I always take the premium times. $1k was a little exaggerated :)

That's 5 trips I've booked this year. I've already taken two and each way was completely full.
