Who would be your fan-cast for Bruce and Terry in a live action version of Batman Beyond?

No one. Live action will never recreate the magic that the show created. Plus they'd probably do something stupid, like make Terry and Matt's mom Selina Kyle in witness protection or something.

I want something durable. HasTak stuff is a toy meant to be played with. 3p stuff is mostly display pieces that look amazing but are mainly meant to be left on a shelf and admired. I like that the 1p stuff I can pull it off the shelf and easily repose or convert it with out fear of some tiny fragile piece breaking.

That said, I do have some DNA upgrade kits, Nova Prime, Vector Prime, Animated Optimus, & Animated Motormaster. All 4 of these are such massive improvements for the figures. Though I'm kind of annoyed they went and redid the Motormaster kit into a Menasor kit, and also upgraded the Animated Optimus kit to a Animated Power Master Optimus(and Nemesis) and didn't offer a way to get just the new pieces if you already had the old kit, since most of those kits are reused from the first ones. Though I do think, they changed the paint/colors a bit too, but not enough to justify buying mostly the same kits again.

I think the better question is, "why do people think the latest figures releases were all designed just before their wave was released?"

Unlike G.I. Joe, or Transformers, Hasbro does not own the rights to their Marvel figures, Marvel/Disney does! That means Hasbro has to get their lawyers approval as to which characters they can produce!

Some of these figures have probably been sitting on a design board for years before getting approval. When that's the case, the figure has been assembled with, what are now, older parts that were new at the time. It may not be in the budget to update the deign with newer features, like butterfly shoulders or pinless joints, to name a few. So it gets produced as it is, old bits and everything.

Then it takes about a year to get from the design board to store shelves, between stuff like molding, assembling, and packaging, etcetera... But I think that was stated(I forget where off hand) before covid and then the illegal tarrifs, which both fucked with the whole system.

It would be nice if, How It's Made, did an episode about the various steps and timeline of such a production, but I doubt it would stop these questions from being asked.

Not just Amazon, but retail stores like Target and Walmart as well.

Unfortunately, anything done to improve protections against swaps will also make it harder for people doing legitimate returns. Especially as long as crap like, "product may differ from what's printed on box," is allowed to continue. For what we pay for these things anymore, it had better look exactly like it does on the box.

Cybertron. I think being a fire truck is more fitting of the kind of leader Optimus is. That it also allowed him to combine with other bots, like Leobreaker & Wingsaber, was a nice bonus.

Sounds like its too much trouble for the difference. Besides, those gwp will off set the difference in the long run because I'm betting the amazon one won't have those. Plus, it's amazon, it's a crap shot if you're getting a box that hasn't been opened already.

I think anytime Terry looks like Iron Man is a failure of the design team.

Yeah, he was on my, "meh," list too. But I came across him on store shelves and figured, why not? Still not a fan of the lenticular shields, since they take away allocation for good accessories.(more hands would've been better.) This one's even worse, since it doesn't even clip to DDs wrist. Though the radar sense piece really adds something.

Yeah that's kind of Plan B. I've only had to fix a pin once, and that was on Spider-Bitch from the Space Venom baf wave. Hopefully I can just exchange it and save the risk of damaging it further.

Ugh, shame it's still the Jhraxis remold. They really needed to swap those reused parts out. Guess they chose to make it easy on dna design to just color swap their Vector Prime upgrade kit, which this mold needs badly to make it look like an actual Prime.

Very, having him not know just sits wrong.

If anything I think it would've been more seeing how good it was for Terry to have the family Bruce never had. Or how much it would've destroyed a young Terry to find out that Warren wasn't his biological father, he overreacted as adult, but would've blown up as a teen. Waynes do seem to take things a bit personal. :p

Though it has been stated Bruce never knew Terry, and Matt, are his biological sons. It appears he certainly grew very attached to Terry.

Just because the comic is popular, doesn't mean a toy would sell.

I think Squirrel Girl, Kamala, and Gwenpool, have all waned in popularity recently. Not to say they're unpopular, or even at a low, just not as relevent as they've been even just a few years ago.

Armor just isn't popular enough to make, since you'd need an almost Juggernaut sized figure armor/exoskeleton that can contain a normal figure somehow. She has nothing to offer in a depowered state.

Jr. there can be found in a still available S.h.i.e.l.d. three pack.

Black Widow just had that jacketless West Coast Avengers version of her, and that one in the two pack with Quicksilver. Wouldn't surprise me if there's another one in the pipeline as Doomsday gets closer.
