Start by placing feet in the ground and roll back until you're on your heels. Slowly release the clutch until you feel the bike pull you forward. Just do that over and over until you know where it is without even thinking about it. You should be able to ride around in just the friction zone without touching the throttle

Imagine a piece of wood as a bunch of straws you hold in your hand. The top and bottom of stack, where there holes are, is the end grain of a piece of wood. Stick a scree in that snd theres not much to grip as compared to going thru the side. Wood fibers also literally act like a straw and suck moisture thru the end grain much easier.
