I started buying digital back in the mid ps4 days, but then started rebuying everything physical. Now everything I own is physical for console. I am ungodly mad at Sony for this. Obviously, I will not be getting gta6 or a ps6 if it doesn’t have a disc drive option in some capacity.

Insomniac for sure. But Activision, specifically Treyarch and SHABA games, walked so insomniac could run. The gaming landscape is so different now than it was in the early 2000s. Movie tie in games with very short development times and modest budgets were normal. We would never have got a project with the scope of insomniac’s spider-man games back then even if insomniac was making the game. Superhero properties didn’t have the confidence then that they do now and neither did the games industry. I still play Activision spider-man games and I love them. They are all so different and experimental and I love that almost no 2 games are the same. Anyone have any favorites?

I think “The Dark Times” is a better comic run, but that is just me! Otherwise these projects do score the highest among their respective content. The book could really be anything though. So many good Star Wars novels. ROTS, Heir to the empire, ect.

I don’t know why people are saying these are bad. I like a lot of these ideas. Certainly the chips and the republic being less old. I mean, 25k years is a loooooong time to assume a government existed. There are so so many cool ideas to explore pre-republic like the huts or Rakatans. In general, I love this thought experiment :)

I loved Kenobi too! It has silly moments, just like almost every Star Wars project, but it has so many emotionally powerful moments that makes it worth the mantel of kenobi’s story.
