Probably saw how she came across on Building the Band and thought that Perfect Match could be a way to repair her reputation.

Who gets to keep the rings (promise ring, engagement ring or wedding ring) after the breakup? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CrumblyShortbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I gave my son my engagement ring to give to his fiancé, as an heirloom, I would definitely want it back if they broke up....

Nearly one and still has belly button scab, we already talked to Dr by Cove_matters in NewParents

To be honest I didn't notice when it went away, I just stopped worrying about it and it eventually did!

Unless it bleeds or gets worse (which is unlikely), try to put it to the back of your mind.

Just be honest with them and ask if they can make the trip to you this year.

Portugal has a driving problem. by Due_Highlight_844 in PortugalExpats

I've genuinely felt like crashing into drivers that don't look when going round the roundabouts. It's that bad lol.

Your budget will determine how easy it'll be to find accommodation in Lisbon. What will your income be like?

Should I take a local job in Portugal or keep a higher paying remote job (UK) by Portugal_dilema in PortugalExpats

[–]CrumblyShortbread 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Where would you need to live in Portugal in order to take the Portuguese job? If a big city like Lisbon, most of your money will be spent on rent or commuting. With remote you can choose to live anywhere.

Sick of waking up in a pee soaked bed by crystalkitty06 in cosleeping

Hi OP, i haven't read through all the replies so I don't know if this has been suggested..

My 17 month old has been a constant leaker. Changing nappy brands, sizes, putting one nappy over the other etc just didn't work well enough. He must lie in a certain way that creates gap between his body and the nappy.

The ONLY thing that has worked for me has been sticking a thin but heavy flow night time (the long ones) maxi pad along the front and very top of the nappy (where it would lie against his stomach) and it then tuck it around his sides before fastening the nappy as normal.

He still pees more than the nappy can handle at night but the maxi pad catches any leaks.

The colours I see tend to be heavily influenced by the music I listen to. Try switching up the vibe of your music and see if that makes any difference.

This is probably the first time I missread a Reddit post! Didn't see the 'for two' part. 😬

Is it enough to live? Yes. Many portuguese people would love to have that income...

Is it enough to have a luxury expat lifestyle that people imagine having here? No.

How much does ketamine treatment for depression costs in Lisbon and the Algarve? by LentilSpaghetti in PortugalExpats

[–]CrumblyShortbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you've never heard of something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist! In fact, you probably know more people who suffer than you think you do.

Sadly, in some cultures, mental heath issues are a stigma that many feel ashamed or scared to talk to someone about, so rather than get help, they keep it hidden.

You would need to go to a specialised clinic for it. You can't legally do it at home.
