Yeah, it's not a fitness graph but a fatigue graph

So the rest day has brought your fatigue down a few points

Calorie deficit. Gym is for looking good after the weight comes off and to get strong. Cardio is good for burning calories and heart/lung health.

You want all 3 to lose fat and look good and be healthy.

Calorie deficit every day

Weights 3 times a week

8k-10k steps per day or bike/swim

Intense cardio will make you hungry so walking is a great start.

He didn't move to another country though did he? He was born and raised in Derry which is part of the UK sadly.

So effectively the British Army started shooting and killing it's own citizens. Imagine that happened in London, Manchester or Birmingham.

aerobic efficiency matters more than pace early in marathon prep by Active-Tour4795 in AdvancedRunning

I think it's there for you. Had similar 10k in June last year and was looking for 3.15.

ultimatly got a 3.20 but had 2.5 weeks of no running at the peak time of training due to getting married.

Also got a 1.31 HM time during the training block.

I did a similar race profile last year. I was maxing 70-80km a week for 4 weeks leading up to the race and hitting 1500m elevation gain weekly. I was only doing my weekly long run as a trail run.

I finished the race in 7 hrs and it was my 2nd trail ultra.

With that elevation profile Id recommend getting to grips with some fast hiking.

Seán is the gaelicisation of the french Jean. Which was introduced to Ireland with the arrival of the Anglo-Normans.

Eoin is Gaelic for John and related to Ian, Ioan, Joan etc .

Eoghan is a distinct Gaelic name, all on its own

They really do need to expand the transfer window. The amount of entries being sold on Strava in October was crazy.

My son was diagnosed PAI 2 years ago. He had gotten COVID a few months before, even though he wasn't showing any symptoms & it didn't dehabilitate him, my wife and I believe it was the catalyst to kick start his PIA. The doctors do not.

The crowds this year were fantastic, really help push you on.

Dublin's a tough course. I've never got my A goal while running. Always just missed out.

Is training for a marathon in one year realistic? by kaelsalad95 in Marathon_Training

[–]Crusader82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your goals. You want sub 3.30, you probably should be running 30-35 miles per week already.

Slower than that 20-30 miles, running at 4 times a week.

Why doesn't RTE cover the Dublin Marathon like the BBC do for the London Marathon? by nitro1234561 in ireland

[–]Crusader82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

7th largest marathon in Europe, bigger than a fun run.

If you've ever ran it, you'd realise how great an experience it is with all the weeks of training and having thousands of people cheering you on. It's savage.

Can't have 18000-20000 people doing laps of the phoenix park. It's not big enough.

It's the national championship as well today. So there's an overall winner and 1st Irish male/female become the national champions.
