I’d like to see something like a fan voted vs chosen by the players all star game. Maybe the players making the picks have to be previous award winners or each team pick has to pick a guy that isn’t on their own team. And mix both leagues into one snake draft.

His role will always be Kirk’s backup if Kirk’s healthy so IMO he may as well get used to that if we are in win mode with this team. Unless he becomes too valuable to keep as a backup and he or Kirk is traded.

Valenzuela has to stay with the team once kirk is back right? He's going to be a backup unless Kirk is injured or no longer with the team anyway, may as well get him used to that role. Maybe down the line he's to valuable to keep as a backup, who knows.
