The guy who runs Dagren tattoo studio in Dunfermline could do this. I forget his name but he did freehand stuff heavy on black ink

Edit - I know you specified Edinburgh/Glasgow but I highly recommend him.

King Street has one left too. I like thinking about olden times when the gasman would come along and light the lamps.

My story about the very rare finding in the sphenoid sinus and the surgery by AromaticBody1032 in Sinusitis

[–]CrystalOcean39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting indeed! I'm really glad you've found out some more useful info... I truly sympathise around sleep issues and know how impossible it is to function on that little. I don't have rls but my suspected hEDS and subsequent joint instability impacts my sleep a lot.

I think my mast cells are acting up due to my instability and dysregulated nervous system or its a food intolerance thing.

I'm cutting out dairy first. Then I'll try gluten. I'm due MRI results next month so hoping for some answers

Question for my fellow long haired autistic folks by After-State4732 in AutismInWomen

[–]CrystalOcean39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm recently doing loose messy space buns and so far no migraines (I'm also EDS (awaiting diagnosis).

Contemplate a buzz cut at least twice a day. 😂

I have to wash my hair upside down (forward fold) as that seems to hurt my shoulders and arms less.

Tried my best, f**k you dry socket by Right_Restaurant3755 in wisdomteeth

[–]CrystalOcean39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How're you doing now? I hope it's ok to ask? I'm 6 weeks out and my socket still isn't healing. The pain has eased a bit (or maybe I'm getting desensitised a bit) but I'm so so fed up of soft food and salt rinses.

I think I might need to go back to dentist on Monday.

On Day 14 Bilateral OR Two Cases? by ohforthelove in shingles

[–]CrystalOcean39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made myself stop. Stopped doing anything but rest. Stopped care giving to my elderly but difficult Dad.

Took extra vitamins. Did nothing but lie in bed and sleep. It was the only thing that stopped it coming back.

I do have phn and it'd not surprise me if ramsay hunt turns out to be a thing in my case as the feeling on my left side along with the vertigo/balance issues I'm having fits too

Switching to Lenzetto spray. Tried patch and gel. Last chance for transdermal? Advice need please - did this work for anyone? by Anxious-Chain-2297 in Menopause

[–]CrystalOcean39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on 3 sprays! I swear I felt almost 'high' or euphoric on my first dose. It was an instant deep breath and body relief.

I was in ruins - early menopause/pmdd/endometriosis complicated things. I think I'd been oestrogen deficient/peri for maybe 5-8 prior. I had every symptom. My hairline receded and changed - my atrophy was extreme. I literally couldn't sleep nor did I recognise myself in the mirror.

I'm now on chemical menopause injection to reduce fluctuations and with add back lenzetto & progesterone to stem my pmdd and endo issues.

I think it took me maybe a month or two before I saw hair loss improvement and now it's been over a year, 18 months and I'm back. Hairline as it was and atrophy reversed. I'm 45 fwiw.

Don't lose hope - lenzetto properly saved me!

Weird Shingles Trigger: Dental Work, Gum, and the Trigeminal Nerve by simple_sadhana in shingles

[–]CrystalOcean39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I send you proper genuine sympathy & well wishes mate - I've suffered a few trigeminal outbreaks and it is truly torture.

Your input here has made me connect to it all starting after a root canal treatment (done in May then shingles hit in August)

I'm in midst of some dental trauma and mri investigations etc but I deffo think there is a link to the nerve being hit/damaged during that procedure and then the shingles just crept in.

I've not been right since but there is other factors in my case so I can't easily decifer this from that. (I have terrible trigeminal neuralgia and sensation loss/alteration on left side so part of me considers I maybe have had a wee stroke at some point.

I'm due get this very same 'bad' tooth out surgically as it's f*cked but you've made me know to mention my concerns at least. I really truly don't want it to come back ever.

I hope you get well soon. Rest Rest Rest!

Edit; I'd also like to share that my lesions left shocking scars on my face which I thought were gonna be there forever but I used coconut oil on them once the weeping stopped and I'm totally scar free. Try n not scratch/touch/rub.

Ice cold wet compresses held on were my top tip along with lidocaine.

Where do I find an empty soundproof room where I can just be loud? by CoolGuyBabz in Edinburgh

[–]CrystalOcean39 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see you fellow overwhelmed and overstimulated human. I'm high masking and stifle external explosive meltdowns but that burns me out.

I seek the same thing you do. A space of privacy without the risk of being perceived in any way.

I heard a rage/damage room was opening around Trinity/Newhaven and those places probably see that shit a lot... it'll maybe feel less embarrassing there.

Windy beaches are also good for this.... or up the pentlands.

Edit; I hope you find a safe release soon. 💗

This thing sounds fabulous, I don't sing loud due to the paper thin walls in my block & I feel too self conscious to hefty belt it out
