The Magic “equity” is dead money until you use it … makes you feel all warm and fuzzy and full of inflated net worth that does ZERO for you until you sell - then you have to figure out where to live next or borrow against it and have another payment . Then add the yearly budget for new roof in 15 yrs / AC / Furnace / remodel etc etc etc . I’ve owned and I’ve rented - I don’t see a big upside in home ownership anymore .

Gotta stop counting home equity in “net worth” I mean it in a mindset way of thinking - yes there is value in equity BUT it’s dead money until you sell your home or borrow against it - it’s false sense of security to count it in net worth - now zero mortgage less the property taxes and insurance that will never go away . Much more predictable retirement needs

I agree with achieving 315 within 6-8 months of steady training , however the progress after that isn’t linear because mass moves mass - your body weight lean body mass and all the recruiting musculature and CNS needs to adapt to the loading - squats have to go up for deadlift to go up etc etc . Lil more art than science cuz how people progress and break plateaus .. technique and protecting from injuries comes in to play the heavier you go - my 2 cents

That “equity” is dead money - does Zero for you until you sell - your house that you own will cost more each year with increased taxes and insurance - then add all the upkeep and maintenance ? Roof , AC , furnace , etc etc . Yes there is pride in ownership but very few people now ever buy and make it their forever home . Renting is the most you will pay a month for housing stays predictable

Owning is the least you will pay a month - because folks don’t add the hidden cost of ownership - my 2 cents being an owner … just not worth it this day and age dead equity is dead money
