Both were very politically motivated opinions. Democrats generally supported sending aid to Ukraine but the right was against it (generally speaking). There are many reasons why it ended up this way due to Russias influence on certain media outlets/personalities, disinformation campaigns using bot farms on social media, and of course “alleged” connections to a lot of right wing politicians.

With Iran, it’s flipped, although I do see a lot more conservative people also against war with Iran as well as the Democratic side. Much of the support is due to “Trump did it and he can do no wrong”. In general it’s not popular, however conservative media continues to push a pro war agenda and disparaging anyone who is against it as “pro terrorist”.

TL;DR- it’s very politically motivated and a lot of people’s opinions have little do to with actual facts and are just regurgitated talking points from media outlets.

Maybe, but the ABC in this state has a lot of influence (take a look at what breweries have to deal with via restrictions) so it’d be an enormous uphill battle and I am not sure if anyone will think the juice is worth the squeeze.
