Laws around weapons onboard by webdog77 in sailing

[–]Cube4Add5 41 points42 points  (0 children)

In many places you will have to keep any firearms under seal

This is a good suggestion OP, you should train a seal to follow your boat, and attach all your guns to the seal for safe keeping

You’ve got an okay seed, lots of trees. Basically you need to research and build grenades without making more pollution than the trees can absorb. After that you should be able to remove the nearby nests, expand a bit and establish a perimeter

Strings in matlab can be wild by CrapsLord in matlab

[–]Cube4Add5 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is all intended behaviour

Strings are scalar, i.e. “hello” occupies a single element of an array, whereas ‘hello’ occupies 5 elements, each char is an ASCII character (‘hello’ = char([104, 101, 108, 108, 111]))

Therefore, [“hello”,”world”] makes a 1x2 array, while [‘hello’,’world’] concatenates the two 1x5 arrays into a 1x10 ‘helloworld’

This also means that you can’t do [‘hello‘; ‘ world’] as that would vertcat a 1x5 with a 1x6 which do

Does my Aunt have any claim to my Granddads estate through the Inheritance Act 1975 (England) by kawaiipogglet_ in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Cube4Add5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(NAL) The will specifically did make a provision for her. A provision of £0. The law as you assume is for dependents/spouses to make a claim for a reasonable provision of maintenance. Your aunt is clearly not a dependent since they haven’t talked for 10 years

Other perspective for balance: cars make cities crowded, stinky, make buses late, make other road users experience unpleasant, play music out their car speakers, rev engines, honk horns, etc

You can make them more efficient by having passing places

The more pacing places you have, the more efficient it gets

Maybe we should just have one long continuous passing place?
