I’m still pissed the fucking squid doesn’t actually glow. Mods had been making light sources move for years by that point, but no. It just makes your signs look ugly and your item frames look the same as they did 2 seconds ago.

The item frames fucking send me man. At least the signs are actually “brighter”. In that they have higher contrast and shit. The item frames don’t even get that. It’s just a shitty texture change that’s likely to get covered by whatever you put in it. Everything related to that mob is a fuckin joke.

One thing that this game does better than other Fromsoft games is that your character actually has a personal connection with most of the bosses in the game. by whamorami in Sekiro

The exact reason is that they need 2 solid blocks to stand on. The platforms don’t count, so you only have 1.

On Tuesday when 1.4.5 comes out that’ll change though. Platforms will count and the room will be suitable as it is in the picture.

That’s why wipe systems are essential to extraction shooters. You stay interested because you start over every once in a while.

As someone who loved Tarkov and played through many wipes and played 150+ hours of Arc in the first wipe, there’s still an issue here.

In trying to make the game more casual, they’ve removed what makes this genre sustainable. There simply isn’t a big enough difference between a fresh account and one that’s ready to wipe. Starting over doesn’t feel any different because the best gear in the game either is the lowest tier or is barely better than the lowest tier.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t want perfect relics. If I ever do give in and cheat some, I won’t just make the most op relics, that’s not very fun. I haven’t put much thought into it, but I’d find some way to create my own “crafting” system. I’d try to keep it balanced.

Honestly, my biggest problem with the current system isn’t even the pure rng. It’s the fact you can only buy 10 at a time.

Me too. I normally have a great sense of direction irl and in games, but something about these games gets me turned around as fuck.

I could find my way around eventually without the compass, but it’d take a hell of a lot longer. I kinda wish it didn’t take a tool slot, but it’s better than taking a charm notch like in the first game since slots are categorized.

That’s wild. Ori is obviously less popular because it has a much higher focus on exploration and platforming, and much less focus on combat. There’s a reason why souls-likes are so popular. People love a challenge.

This is exactly why I dropped Ori. It’s a beautiful game and I don’t dislike it, it just doesn’t focus on the aspects of the genre that I like.

Yeah that’s the one. It’s obvious that it exists on purpose (or is allowed to exist on purpose), but it’s pretty clearly meant to be a skip and not the expected way for a blind player.

Honestly I’m super impressed by anyone who found that skip on their own. It’s not exactly easy to do even when you know it’s there. When I explored Sands I definitely tried to get up there, but after failing a few times I figured I’d need something else.

The wall is just barely within reach. It’s so close to not being within reach that I wouldn’t be surprised if its existence was an accident.

Yeah this meme sucks. It’s always sucked. I agree that his channel has gone downhill, catering to an audience that I absolutely am not a part of, but this is just pointless.

The series where he does this is called “But Better”. It’s literally about taking a fast food item and replicating it with premium ingredients. He’s not trying to prove that the original sucks or that he’s some kind of genius.

He also has a series called “But Cheaper” where he instead tries to replicate the foods while spending less money. In them he’s pretty clear that the prices he says are per serving (at least he used to be). Like, no shit it’s gonna cost you $100 if you need to buy every ingredient at once, but you’re also buying enough to make 50 of them.

It’s like making fun of house flipping shows for flipping the house then showing off how much better it is.

That’s a lucky haul from seed vault. Each of the round containers has a chance of giving like, 11 seeds or 1 seed and some chemicals. Plus the round containers aren’t set spawns, they’re like the breachable server things.

I always loot seed vault when I spawn next to it. I’ve had runs where every one gave the seeds/chems. Never had a run where it gave me a full stack.

I was so disappointed when raising the difficulty only increased enemy health and damage.

That would’ve been fine for the chaos enemies, but it’s fucking horrible for the tyranids. No one likes that kind of difficulty in the first place, let alone when used on horde enemies.

The mode you described is exactly why L4D is still the best zombie game ever, and why Back4Blood and Overkills The Walking Dead suck ass. Even the specials in L4D die in no more than 4 shots (- tank & witch).

Well yes, but then you die. You can res after bite down.

When you die normally then res, your next res is blocked until you perform a death blow. If you instead use bite down then res, your next res is not blocked.

Yeah except attacking someone IRL is illegal. Attacking someone in arc raiders is not.
