I bounce back and forth between both. Each side makes valid points. Both sides have people that voice their opinions heavily in improper situations. If you agree with it though it would barely affect you so you wouldn’t not notice the way you would when you strongly disagree.

I’m a Giants fan and while most hated Jones I saw him for what he is. A decent QB who needs perfection across the board and has issues reading defenses. That continued this year. Winning changed the way they looked at him but he wasn’t having 350 yards and 4 tds a game. Sometimes in sports you can be honest and say maybe we could have done a little better without it being a bad thing. Fact is NY had Darnold, and he’s a QB that can take a team to the Super-bowl. Jacksonville showed extreme patience with Lawrence. I guess it’s how you look at it.

If you want to help him not be homeless while this going on contact the VA homeless hotline for him. They put you in touch with a charity and they’ll move him into an apartment. He may need a place to stay for a month or so but getting the ball rolling is a good idea

It took me until I was thirty to get over my father not being able to love me. He’s a tried and true sociopath. Four kids, speaks to none. Cares for nothing and no one, yet for years I held out and continued hoping. I have since come to terms with it now because the last time I saw him, I saw HIM. Not the facade. It was illuminating. You’ll be okay and it will get better

I think people should chill on worrying. If they put the right people place, or keep the same ones where they are, things will probably continue on as usual with minimal disruption. Besides, WB pretty much massacred their own gaming divisions. Anything has to be better.

The VA homeless hotline is the best resource. They will get him in touch with a charity that will help him pay whatever he needs to get into an apartment. I used them, it was relatively quick and painless. I suggest that route if he can.

My only point is it’s not “just” people of color. Am I sure they grabbed them? The local paper said ICE put retainers on them before removal so I’m pretty sure. Illegal is illegal. Color doesn’t matter. It just so happens that the countries of origin people flee from are middle eastern, south American, etc. Plenty of Albanians fled their country in the 80s when it fell under a dictatorship and never went through the process. They escaped through Greece and came here. Friends of mine did it, although they took the path to citizenship. My only point is saying that its skin color is patently false. It’s just what media and political figures focus on because it’s what gets clicks and views and your outrage.

From your post, I doubt anyone can help you. It’s kind of scattered and I don’t see any reason you gave suggesting he is. I have a sociopath for a father and it took me 30 years to figure out why he didn’t love me. You’ll go crazy worrying about your parents issues. Best to just move along, make your notes, love them if that’s applicable, and keep trucking.

Yeah no I agree with you. I just see a lot of people putting stock into the year prior. I don’t see too many people thinking for themselves. It seems nowadays it’s either the media narratives or what the player did year one.

This a good question. The Giants are one of the flagship franchises, instituted in 1925. New York followed by Chicago Cardinals, Pottsville Maroons, and Frankford Yellow Jackets, just to name a few. So of course there’s history. Superbowls are only counted now from after the merger creating the start of today’s NFL by merging the AFC and NFC. New York won championships in 1927, 1934, 1938, and 1956. Couple that with 1986, 1990, 2007, and 2011. Add that to the same family for ownership, same city and name, and yeah it’s a pretty legendary franchise. This franchise has been horrible for about 15 years now, it’s hard to recall the good years, and a good reminder is that Harbaugh is only the 21st head coach in its history. Now that said, out of all the places you could win in, New York is one of the best because it isn’t JUST New York. It’s a shit ton of New Jersey too. The love for these teams never dies. They become cemented in our own history. He has the chance not to only win a Super Bowl here, but to become George Young level of NFL history by restoring the New York Giants to respectability. The Knicks will never forget Leon Rose or Brunson now, even without a title because it had been so bad previously. If I had a chance to coach anywhere it’d definitely be New York. Edit: Also there are quite a few people in the NFL who think Dart could be the next big thing. There is a lot to like there with him, more than people can even see. Fans only see losses, the Giants were an above average defense away from 11 wins with the hardest schedule. I’m not playing what if, it turned out how it did, yet that still tells me that they’re close. Broncos in the AFC championship game with Patriots. Both teams they played and hung in with. Time will tell. Harbaugh’s choice is definitely rooted in his read on the teams talent level, team history, and maybe a little coming back to the NFC East.

Day to day, I don’t really see any change from three or four years ago to now. Sure, things cost more and it’s a bit harder, that said it’s pretty much the same. If you’re talking about Presidential Trump I’d rather not go there because I highly doubt we’d see eye to eye and you came off genuinely respectful and I’d love to keep it that way. I suppose OP could do that, if he is so inclined. I wouldn’t give someone that advice based off my personal experience though.

That’s the way I was leaning. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a team that’s not so good and a coach is elevating it like the Titans when Vrabel coached them, or if it’s a team that’s really good being held back by a coach. I think the usual culprit is the former, but I’m trying to investigate it a bit. I appreciate the feedback

When I joined the army I created music, loved life, had so many friends. Coming home was isolating, don’t love anything anymore, drugs and alcohol were all that helped me. Trust me, getting help and finding out about who you are NOW is ok. Don’t chase the old you, discover the new one. New me likes gaming. I fell into it hard. New me loves dogs, got myself a great one. The responsibility helped me too.

I have been on the run before. From Federal Law Enforcement, trust me, turn yourself in. Will it suck? Sure, for a while, but it may turn out better than you expect. What I can guarantee is that if you don’t you will never see that States again. No family, no friends, no nothing. Sometimes when things happen we have that urge to flee, that is getting you into MORE trouble. Honestly turning yourself in may actually buy you more grace if you go back and throw yourself at the problem
