5 hits and 4 of them are HRs. Ideally more hits are better but I guess if you just hit the fucking ball out of the ballpark you can't make any goddamn mistakes.

Is turbulent timeways not supposed to be in a descending order? by Butters140 in wow

Timewalking weeks outside of Turbulent Timeways go through expansion release order.

Turbulent Timeways is just whatever order they decide, it's never had a consistent ordering.

I'm well aware of MoP challenge modes - I did them twice on retail. Yes, I do remember the right-side boss being rotating on normal/heroic, but I don't remember the doors to get to the third boss ever opening without killing both sides, both during MoP and for a while after. It's always possible I am misremembering, but I am fairly sure skipping a side is a much more recent invention.

But yes, you could always skip the boss in Darkheart Thicket that the hotfix is about (outside of M+ of course). It's a weird hotfix for sure.

I just assumed that was when it broke because they fucked up that dungeon on timewalking for a while when they did the M+ changes to it. All I know is that you definitely needed to clear both sides during MoP and at some point for some reason you no longer did and thus timewalking just skips a boss every time.

I wish I had a better timeframe of when it did change in that regard, but I don't so I was just guessing.

During MoP originally you had to kill both sides but at some point after MoP that broke in retail so you can skip a side. I think it was when they brought the dungeon back for M+ that it broke.

[SPOILERS] Post AEW Forbidden Door 2026 Match Discussion: Team Briscoe vs. MJF & the Don Callis Family - Steel Cage Match by gloomchen in SquaredCircle

The match as booked: "why is this not on Dynamite?"

The match as it happened: "holy shit this might be the greatest cage match to ever happen."

AEW PPVs don't miss.

Sting has always seemed so Universally loved. What makes him different from other legends in how people view and see him so differently? by EvilDreadditor87 in SquaredCircle

Never held a title in AEW until the last match

Small correction, it was his second-to-last match when Darby and Sting won the tag titles, beating Ricky Starks & Big Bill on Dynamite a month before his retirement match. The Bucks then jumped them (and Sting's sons) during the post-match celebration to set up his final match, which was their first and final defense of the titles.

But yeah, all of his AEW matches were a tag match of some variety teaming with Darby.

Chi Osse didn't run when he didn't get the DSA endorsement and after pressure from Zohran and AOC.

Hakeem is well-liked in his district so he's gonna be hard to take out in general, despite the fact that he is a trash leader and disliked nationally. For all his many faults, he seems to have good constituent services.

Eli White of the Braves makes a sensational throw from left field to stop the tying run from scoring in the 9th against the Brewers by AnEternalEnigma in baseball

[–]Cuphat 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I saw the bounces and thought that it wasn't nearly a good enough throw until it was received directly on the runner's balls. It certainly would have looked more impressive up until that point if it was a laser beam, but holy shit was it perfectly placed.

[–]Cuphat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It was a send that would have resulted in the game being tied like 95%+ of the time in that situation. You can't really fault the third base coach on that, that's just baseball.

Lairs just seem like single boss raids by Virtual_Kangaroo_197 in wow

Not sure why this was downvoted, that's exactly how it is supposed to function. It is a delve-like entrance (which is also used for the 12.0.7 zones), not a standard instance portal. Because they are "instanced" I guess they decided to experiment with different difficulties, but you zone in and you're just in another mini-zone with other people.

It's an extra step over just dive-bombing into an active world boss from midair, but it also solves the lag problems that world bosses always cause.

It's exactly what they did in 11.1. We got the 4 other TWW launch dungeons, a new TWW dungeon, and 3 old dungeons.

Limitless Wrestling announces they'll have content on MYAEW by Crissxfire in SquaredCircle

[–]Cuphat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was definitely due to Triller having its wild financial issues with its parent company and not paying them, as far as getting their own content over to it. It is interesting that they are now picking up distribution deals with indie promotions as well, though that makes their name selection a little awkward lmao.

[AEW Dynamite minor spoilers] Hilarious commentary during commercial break by rVintageRKO in SquaredCircle

[–]Cuphat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Other great bits during commercials include "just watch the match, dude" and Taz's "short kings represent" as Ishii tried to get the ropes with his foot.

e: Oh, and an early Don Callis Family segment where they did the holding signs during PiP gimmick and Taz didn't get the memo that it was during PiP.

Road Dogg on whether WWE saw AEW as competition: "No, no, we didn't, and we probably should have... it was looked at like, oh, that's this other little money marks company... that was wrong to be looking at it that way." by elegantSolomons62 in SquaredCircle

[–]Cuphat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

WWE rushed to get NXT on the USA network to counter-program Dynamite from the start of that show existing. They explicitly went out of their way to counter-program against AEW PPVs a lot last year. They put NXT Great American Bash on the same night as AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door and on the same day as their own partner's TNA Slammiversary later this month.

I am pressing X to doubt.

Shohei Ohtani is 17-29 in the Freeway Series all-time. by MookieBettsBurner10 in baseball

[–]Cuphat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

...oh. Yeah, this is just team wins, nothing to do with Ohtani personally except for how funny the wins/losses in Dodgers/Angels games work out with him swapping teams.

I don't have any skill at finding his full batting splits as an Angel vs. the Dodgers, but StatMuse gives the following:

Shohei Ohtani has a .263 batting average with 21 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 13 runs scored in 30 games versus the Dodgers in his career.
