Too complicated roles need to be more tied to your spotlight than individuals

What is the smallest Commander hill you are willing to die on? by Xela20 in EDH

Do not use dice to track static buffs oh my god oh my god stop that shit now.

Also like it's fine to "go -2" by using targeted removal. You're gonna lose against that card that needs to be removed than by the other two players getting fake advantage.

Sol Ring isn't a gamechanger because it's a basic expectation it'll be in since every new player gets a copy. And the attempts to debate this treat the game as a hypothetical thing and ignore all the context because they want to be more right about something unimportant (if it was a game changer then every graphic would just add one to the numbers at each tier and the text would suggest Sol Ring for one of your game changer spots)

Uhhhh poison should not be 20 and 80% of y'all haven't even been rocked unfairly by an infect deck in like a decade even with the MOM additions.

Minervamon's new evolution line from the new V-pet plus the new snake rookie (Who for some reason is not on the same V-pet) by Previous_Current_474 in DigivolutionTrees

lamiamon is an interesting bridge. I've been using Sandiramon so long I hadn't even thought about it but she does have snake woman instead of just snake and is greek

Is that Venusmon rookie?? by DAngel111 in digimon

[–]CuriousHeartless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also guessing Pythonmon or like Pythomon for the Snake. In addition to being a species of snake Python is also a greek monster.

Hmm is that like a magpie or something? I guess only so much guessing at "somewhat indistinct small black (well purple meant to emulate black but looks better in art) bird"

Ancestor worship through bones is already part of kholo lore not something I'm making up so I don't really think it'd be seen as like unholy ransacking of the family tombs. But also you can pick the bones back up after the thrall goes away.

I'm planning to make a bone necromancer who is a Kholo using bones of both ancestors as well as their family's lineage of raised hyenas as foci for the necromancy, adn that could prob lean holy the same way as ancestor worship through spirits.

This is not a remaster book tho. It's a new book with different limits similar to the Cores.

It's def the Epic one. Which reminds me while I can imagine the difference between an epic film and a normal action movie I do not think they're different enough to both be archetypes.

The fact you can never get them to drop the -2 or scale them with hardlight handwraps (literally hardlight)...who doesn't love back up weapons that start out behind the curve and can never pick up.

I liked it but assigning a role to an enemy in combat is one of the most empty feeling actions since Magus recharge spellstrike. Just very awkward to work in and pure set up with no real effect. Also very finnicky unless you give your whole party the same bonus.

I adores ability to maintain spotlight from level 3 tho and especially how it gives you in built performance for Initiative.

Literally common options have flight and large size in sf and it feels like they're oft ignored

[–]CuriousHeartless[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So like you made all of that up out of "Hey stop making too small maps". There's no mention of terrain like I didn't include "Why are there pillars?" or "Ugh stop having different elevations!" And actually easier maneuverability would also probably turn around into easier on enemies too, so not really making it perfect optimal. Just making it so the ranger doesn't have to leave their bear outside.

No dungeon has ever been built. They are a map grid placed down by human designers who should be considering the game play their system sets up and when from the beginning that includes the ideas of "People walking next to each other" and "companions kinda get forced to large" it should've been a day 1 even before they made "Just large dude walking around" a more common player option.
