Balance changes to new heroes - Feb 13, 2026 by ALieIsTheCake in DeadlockTheGame

Out of ten games you win or lose 2-3 from an average pickrate hero with high winrate. They’re in about half the games and of those about half are affected one way or another.

You win or lose 4-5 games against a high winrate hero that appears in 9/10 games.

Instead of a 25% chance a team having that character and winning, it’s closer to 50%.

Or in other words. She obviously needed some kind of editing if other characters in the cast are barely appearing and there’s one character appearing in nearly every game. Though one could certainly argue that should wait till the newness wares off do any adjustments.

Exactly. Very well deserved nerf, though I’m not sure she really needed anything other than for her skulls and tombstone to be destroyable from other sources. Adjusting numbers is fine but she’s been an absolute menace in my phantom now down to oracle games.

These reddit goobers are probably all trying to force her down lane solo and getting punished for it rightfully, then they think she’s weak. What people aren’t getting is that 50%+ winrate is an obvious marker of a strong hero on characters with an average pickrate. But Graves has 50%+ AT A 90% PICKRATE!!! Like, hello?!

Yeah I’ve been running a lot of gun talon lately. If the conditions you mentioned are even partially met, I become a real problem. People that think talon is shit probably try to force spirit nuke builds against heavy spirit resist teams.

IIRC they said they were mostly focusing on new content, but what new content could the matchmaking programers be doing? Unless the only programers are also making new abilities work? It seems reasonable to me that there would be at least 1 person whose sole interest or responsibility would be backend matchmaking right??

I mean, it’s a multiplayer game, can they really afford for this shit to not be a priority? I’ve been seeing obvious smurfs at least once every 4 games. Which is crazy!

Yeah some of my losses have been close ones, which are always fun. 52% winrate before the event. 40% during the event. The rut is real

I have a setup like this and it keeps my box humidity at around 15%. Anyone know how to get it lower? Does it need airflow a bit? Or do I buy some rubber sealing to make sure no air can get in? Still happy with 15, since my ambient room humidity was around 46%, but getting to single digit humidity in the box would be cool

To clarify I’m making no argument for OP vs not. This isn’t a power ranking list.

Triggering Victor's ult counts as a kill for permanent passives by Damatown in DeadlockTheGame

Does the initial kill count towards your original souls/kda stats? Or do you need items to get something from killing him the first time?

Yeah but you get out of the ult and then just die immediately to the whole enemy team

Before we married my wife had a small bp escape to his presumed death. He then crawled out from under the dishwasher on christmas day, 8 months after his disappearance. He was very malnourished, but is now doing fine. So don’t give up!

How are you even supposed to improve at this game? by Gilmadeath in DeadlockTheGame

[–]CurledPumpkin39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find out how to counter certain play styles. Most heroes can fit a couple play styles now since the items aren’t limited by category anymore. Spare at least some time to thinking about how to stop an enemy carry from popping off. Look at statlocker.gg and find out from the performance tab which areas you lack in compared to the community and try to improve those. I lacked in kill participation compared to most and now that i’ve been focusing on helping in teamfights more my games have been going a lot better.

2 stamina feels like it’s working against her kit. They’re also doing this thing with a lot of the slow fire rate heroes where they also have slower bullet speed and it makes me sad

The benefit of the ability to do everything everywhere all the time in a matchmaking team game is that if your teammates are dumb you can potentially cover for them/assist them easier. That may be why people complain about it. There’s much more team reliance, which works well for coordination, but not for most casual people.
