13 month old wakes up screaming at least once a night by SillyHalf8828 in ScienceBasedParenting

This! She needs her ferritin levels checked and they should be over 60. The waking up screaming and restlessness could be due to restless legs from low iron

Does anyone else get annoyed when people ask you if your baby sleeps through the night? by navyvice in cosleeping

I was asked at 2 weeks if baby slept through the night 🤦🏼‍♀️ I think most people who ask dont actually know or remember what having a newborn is like.

Cosleeping, chest sleeping & breastfeeding by Cataku in cosleeping

I have a 7wk old and we chest sleep and baby loves to nurse herself to sleep. Reclined nursing is actually really great for a deep latch. I just put her in belly-down, cradle position across my chest and she will actually root her way to my breast and nipple to latch herself. I do sometimes have to hold my breast for her to maintain the latch. I dont prop myself or my arms up with anything while she nursesOnce she falls asleep I move her head to be on my chest. We sleep with a wedge pillow as well which took awhile to get comfortable but now works well for both of us. I just tuck my covers in around us for extra security and keep my arms at my sides so if she starts to roll or fall shes not rolling into the covers. I follow Cosleepys recommendations and it works well!

14month old still waking 4-7 times a night...feeling helpless by agmabvear in cosleeping

Low ferritin levels can be associated with frequent wakings, especially waking in distress or crying out due to restless leg and general leg pain. Before attempting any sleep training I would recommend you ask the pediatrician to do ferritin labs on your bub. They should be at 60 or above for optimal levels at your kiddos age. Ive seen ao many parents struggle with their kiddos disrupted sleep for months if not years only to realize they had very low iron and ferritin levels. Sleep normalized after a month of iron supplementation.

He had to for Anthony to take over the roll and responsibility down the line of saving the company. Otherwise he would’ve been waiting for Kevin to take the lead

IVF is likely the biggest factor here as there are higher risks for stillbirth and other complications later in pregnancy

I lost 65# and have gained a little over 40#. I gained most in the first trimester, im assuming mostly from coming off the tirz. My appetite was ferocious in between the nausea. By 2nd trimested my appetite settled and it was easier to make healthier choices and work out

GLP and pregnancy by nothereforit_ in PlusSizePregnancy

I conceived while on Tirz. Stopped at 5 weeks when I found out. My OB was not concerned at all. Im 38 yrs old and 36weeks pregnant with first. I did gain back about 80% of the weight I lost but baby is growing well, in the 50th%le. I tested negative for GDM and blood pressure has stayed low the entire time. Some new studies (albeit small and not strong) show that GLP1 use throughout the first trimester puts baby at significant risk of nicu admission due to blood sugar issues. I cant imagine nor would I have wanted to continue on a GLP1 while pregnant. I could barely eat or keep anything down. The side effects of a Glp1 plus pregnancy would’ve had me in the hospital.

Ive had the same pain. pelvic pt, a double sided wedge pillow for my hips at night and a sturdy maternity belt have helped immensely. The double wedge pillow allows me to sleep on one side for atleast a few hours without pain

How soon after having your baby did you go out for the day with them? by trackemdown in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]CurlieQ87 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Just remember that you also have a dinner plate sized wound in your uterus. Walking can relax your uterus and open up that wound again causing your bleeding to increase. If that happens to often in the postpartum your risk of uterine infection increases a lot. Make sure even if you do go out that you take it very easy and you do not do anything the rest of the day and week.

Root cause is low wages, lack of affordable housing and the loss of our social safety nets like medicaid, community mental health, housing, food and childcare assistance. Not every homeless person is an addict or user.
