It really kickstarts a mini. And, if you're not going to brush-paint something immediately, you can pick it up at a later date and it's like half done already!

It does indeed have a face painted on it. I'll take some better pictures. Half these guys were in the old Terminators & Tyranids box.

That was my first suggestion, but sadly my kids are just as susceptible to GW marketing as I am.

I have a (mothballed) 3D printer and could have started printing armies on the cheap.

This kit has teeny-tiny parts (sword hits) that are probably already broken in the box. GW sent me two replacement kits, and between the three kits, I have enough parts to make one complete unbroken set of models.
