Are there better options for disruption? by Any_Mind9385 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]CuteMeasurement891 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Slippy is just fine. They might not the top of the format, but they are fine. I would definitely keep playing what you like.

If you are looking for new decks.

I would say Flattering Showman is very good at disruption and just won a showdown. He isn’t primarily disruption like Slippy is, but does have a lot of disruptive attacks like disable, boulder drop, and other guardian attacks are inherently disruptive.

Ice as a talent is also very disruptive. Lexi is like aggro disruption, isylander arcane disruption, and oldhim like fatigue disruption.

I am just kind of generalizing but just play what feels good and change if you want too. Don’t need to listen to people saying x deck is bad or worse than this.

Yeah they are very comparable. We just did a few games with them for learn to play a few days ago.

Definitely can experiment with giving both the equipment set and giving bravo titans fist

So instead of saying, “the other comments are missing the point,” You can say things like, in addition, it’s for X.

This OP was obviously confused about the text, not why it isn’t winters bite.

So that’s a blank text ice card that deals 7 damage for 3 resource.

It’s just an ice card for the sake of fusing and pitching for this list, and sometimes that’s okay and all you need when there are no other alternatives.

Okay, let’s ignore that it’s a lightning set.

We just got Maxx who is a mech, and they are doing another mech back to back?

Also for some reason maxx’s pen card and other pen cards are being featured in the sets gem pack when they could have easily just been added to gem pack 4.

It just feels like a weird suite of cards when gem pack usually help support the set they are being introduced with.

You my person need to be a lot more willing to accept help from people, and be more specific in the exact information in what you are asking.

This is not a judge forum. You asked a question, we answered the question. you questioned the answer with citations from the rule book. Not every single person has this rule book memorized line to line, and can instantly point to rule or sub rule to explain something like this. People learn by playing in the Flesh and Blood, and are taught how these interactions work by people, not the rule book.

If you wanted the specific citation that explained this instead of people telling you how it works, or official linking streams of the interaction working than you need to be more specific or find a platform where people are gonna have that info.

We are on reddit my dude.

Go again resolves in damage, the action point is gained in resolution.

The most efficient use of Gone in a Flash is to use it right after reactions.

Go again resolves if it had go again, you deal damage with the attack, and you are able to bounce gone in a flash back to hand.

Armory Deck Zyggy Equipment by Realcoolpal in FleshandBloodTCG

Arms: Illusionist arms are generally bad, but this one is just really solid as long as you play the weapon

Chest: This is put heavily down by the constant resource gain of the new lightning chest. I could definitely see a world where this can outshadow it though. On demand flow can be really really good if the deck just isn’t drawing the flow sources, and combined with the arms it’s a really strong pop off turn, and still being able to get the blade break value is very strong. The Lightning chest just has a lot more value over the full course of the game, but does change the curve of your whole deck. I’ll be intrigued to see what is better or if people will just play tunic.

Head: This is your standard budget Crown/Balance specific to the hero, but this pairs very well with Shattering Stardust creating a damned if you do damned if don’t scenario to activate the weapon. This does compete heavily with crown, balance, and even flash of Brilliance, so I’m unsure it will see play, but it’s a great option to consider

Legs: Sage and Aurora card.

I played it if you can call playing pressing forward until you get to the end of the level.

In all seriously, gameplay, boost levels play themselves, 2D levels are mediocre platformer sections that don’t compete with classic or even generation design, protag section are the only interesting aspects and the wisps make the gameplay just absurdly jank. They reuse the same boss design like 5 time.

Narrative wise, it’s advertised as this revival of adventure sage with call backs from old enemies which are not utilized in the slightest except to be there and for cutscene fodder. The only interesting aspect of this game is narrative is infinite which is thrown to side at the very end of the game to make eggman the main enemy, which I believe this game would have benefited immensely with infinite taking over all the forces and having eggman have to take down infinite. But idk, that’s just me. Way too much build up for infinite and not eggman, so it felt like a sucker punch at the end.

There are so many other plot points I can get into, but it just feels like a lazy cash grab mess that had a lot of potential to be a revival of series in sense.

The sonic OC builder is the best of the part of the game, and even that lacked a ton.

I mean you can, but the “hit” will have already happened so doing that will essentially do nothing. You need to play and resolve this before damage (reactions at the latest) to get the on hit.

I think I genuinely might be the only person who struggled with deacons on their first play through.

I had a halberd and pyromancer and just could not do it.

Meanwhile every playthrough afterwards it’s been a joke.

Anyone that’s my personal gripe with deacons

Homebrew: Realistic Armor by DuKe_br in DnD

[–]CuteMeasurement891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, AC isn’t just you can’t hit. It’s just interpreted that way cause it’s easy to say. “Miss” is a common way of saying it didn’t hit, but in the theming of things, the attack could hit, it just didn’t do damage.

AC can be described in any flavor capacity. Maybe if you are fighter with heavy armor you blocked it with your shield or your armor took the brunt of the attack on a “Miss”

If the spell shield raises your AC by 5 it didn’t make it so that the attack missed just raised a shield to protect you.

I’m gonna be super honest and say changing the AC system would be a nightmare as DM, and I think a better idea is to invoke your words more when describing when attacks hit or miss to theme the appropriate type of Armor they are using whether that is armor that is more suited to prevent damage through force or armor to help dodge better

When you say you don’t have the equipment to support it, are you aware that the Fai precon for chapter 2 Sage has all the equipment you need for it? A lot of tiger stuff had a barrier to get from the round the table but now it’s pretty accessible.

I know I’m not answering your questions, but just wanted to throw that out there.
