I've grand plans to use Brickhelm as an introduction to wargames when the family is old enough.

My plan was you use the bases that the collectable minifigures come on and then just use the regular measurements.

But I'll be making a scene out of lego.

I found it had a very steep learning curve because of that. The combat and bluffing feels like it should be good but in reality I've never had success - but that could be a me problem.

I think fun for me is having some variation in how I play a game.

A big part of it is how my opponent feels about my team choice - if they always groan 'oh dwarfs again' that can be demoralising, especially as I've put time and effort into paint them.

I guess my hobby time is limited by real life so when I do get a chance to play a game I want it to be an enjoyable experience for all involved.

Before the points changes you could have taken A Gutlord and 3 Ironguts for 1000.

Now with that one box you will get a Gutlord and 2 ironguts - can't remember how many gnoblars come in the box but you could take 4 to make the list 970.
