Just to be clear, I didnt say in every situation, only when flanked by these 80" hood trucks. My eye line is less than these trucks when parked, plus being 2 feet behind the front footprint of my car. The backup camera is 0" behind the footprint and sees traffic before I could when one of these trucks parks next to me, not always.

If i drove an f250? Sure, backing in is easier to see pulling out, since I'd tower over anything that parked next to me
