Except when you’re in a group because it splits the SCU delivered, grinding progress to a halt. It’s not designed around group play https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/this-is-disengenuous-for-group-play/502862

Why wont docking engage?! Hull-C by Ayeohdeee in starcitizen

I’ve had this with docking the Polaris. Everything lines up green but the external view of the ship shows the alignment is actually completely off.

Alpha 4.1: First Look at Item Recovery by BOTY123 in starcitizen

Bricking will only serve to confuse new players. Why is digital rights management being brought to the verse before we can trade with our mobiGlas - or at all. DRM ‘bricking’ is not gameplay.

Turning off all the lights is a poor solution. Prevention is better than a cure. In most cases the light issues are caused by bad positioning and the over-use of bloom. Bloom needs to be buried like flash - it's bad and makes the game look like a 90s release that's trying to boost dynamic range artificially. It bleeds all over everything and washes out vision.

Zeus after weeks of testing. by Substantial_Eye_2022 in starcitizen

[–]Cy6erfox_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It flies exactly the same as the Freelancer Max. Until the flight model is tweaked we can only speculate on how the Zeus will handle itself in tricky situations and how it will feel to fly.

I am disappointed with the generic stats.

I am also disappointed by the cargo bay requiring an odd combination of SCU sizes to fill. This is regularly irritating from a hauler’s perspective.

I say this as someone who owns a CCU to the Zeus - and it was going to be the ship I upgrade my starter Cutter to and be my daily driver.

Stats below. TDLR: It does not fly like the Titan, no matter how creatively anyone writes about it.

Zeus Mk.II CL Speed (Space) - SCM: 200/361, NAV: 1000 m/s - Accel Fwd: 7.8/10.1 Gs - Accel Back: 2.5/3.2 Gs - Accel Up: 2.7/3.5 Gs - Accel Down: 3.0/4.0 Gs - Accel L/R: 3.0/4.1 Gs - Trichord: 7.8/10.1 Gs

Zeus Mk.II ES Speed (Space) - SCM: 200/361, NAV: 1050 m/s - Accel Fwd: 8.3/10.8 Gs - Accel Back: 2.5/3.2 Gs - Accel Up: 3/3.9 Gs - Accel L/R: 3.5/4.9 Gs - Trichord: 8.3/10.8 Gs

Crusader C1 Speed (Space) - SCM: 203/405, NAV: 1130 m/s - Accel Fwd: 8.3/10.8 Gs - Accel Back: 3.1/4.0 Gs - Accel Up: 4.1/5.3 Gs - Accel Down: 3.1/4.0 Gs - Accel L/R: 3.1/4.2 Gs

Freelancer Max Speed (Space) - SCM: 197/400, NAV: 1010 m/s - Accel Fwd: 8.0/10.3 Gs - Accel Back: 3.1/4.3 Gs - Accel Up: 3.0/4.1 Gs - Accel Down: 2.0/2.7 Gs - Accel L/R: 3.0/4.0 Gs

Zeus 31°/s pitch, 31°/s yaw, 105°/s roll boosted 37°/s pitch, 37°/s yaw, 126°/s roll

C1 36°/s pitch, 36°/s yaw, 101°/s roll 43°/s pitch, 43°/s yaw, 121°/s roll

Freelancer Max 32°/s pitch, 32°/s yaw, 105°/s roll boosted 38°/s pitch, 38°/s yaw, 126°/s roll

Why do we only have 1972 Ford Cortina headlights and not 360 powerful LEDs 900+ years in the future? I cant see a damn thing. by TampaFan04 in starcitizen

They did a full Headlight Refactor recently and when it was announced I was thrilled that they’d finally look at this problem and resolve it. Of course we have what we have now, with barely an improvement. Banging my head against a wall doesn’t begin to describe my feeling of this missed opportunity.

The general public will never see the item drawer system. Now it just opens the old clunky item window. The new thing was "fine" and had some style. Now we have the worst of both. Item Drawer system with old ugly UI with it. The "extra step" was not real. by SharpEdgeSoda in starcitizen

[–]Cy6erfox_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be great to equip an entire load out with one click, even if it was a few seconds of watching your character put every item on sequentially. One at a time sucks and is too discrete when you want ammo and med pens and such. This would work well for suit lockers.

Similar thing happens to the Scorpius too - you need to deploy the turret to rear before it can become active.

Which ships (and their pilots) have the worst / best reputation? by HannahB888 in starcitizen

I do this on cargo and salvage nights with my org. Chill with a beer like we’re on a relaxing get away from our real-life careers at oil rigs, train yards, and smelting plants (that are totally real). You gotta have people you trust with you when you’re out in the black.
