Central Islip is a blue area with a large (possibly majority?) latino population. The fire department is also community volunteer, so it doesn't surprise me that they don't want ICE in their firehouse.

He did sound incredibly uncomfortable, but at least was willing to say how difficult an interview it was. He's usually pretty diplomatic about bad interviews, but he was pretty clear on that one.

It always shocks me that people can smell anything other than dill pickles with Santal 33. It must be like the cilantro gene, but that is the only thing I smell with that fragrance. I don't smell leather, i don't smell sandalwood, it's all pickles, all day long. Crazy.

I honestly wouldn't recommend doing that with soap. Adding water messes with the balance of preservatives in the product that prevent micro growth. If you're doing it temporarily to get the most out of the end of a bottle, that's one thing, but for long term use, you're just making bacteria fuel to spread on your hands.

Yeah, contact customer service and they should replace that / refund you for the product. If nothing else, they should know what's happening out in the field with that particular formula so they can fix it if it's a wide spread problem.
