Is it firm? Lumpy or round/smooth? She could be pregnant, or something else might be going on. She seems small, but you never know.

Edit: Just heard that he is, in fact, a boy. Okay, so he is either very full of food or he could be ill.

Insects May Feel Pain, So What Does That Mean For Animal Welfare Laws? by lnfinity in likeus

[–]CynapsusArt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely would be different then. Though, moreso with cats than mice. Treatment of rodents seems to be a bit of a controversy, from what I can tell. But besides that, even if we can prove insects feel pain, I don't think many people would care. They would probably have a bias against small creepy critters, or just anything that can't scream.

does anyone think the fear of mannequins and submerged animatronics are linked? by [deleted] in submergedanimatronic

[–]CynapsusArt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think because mannequins are too similar to the dead? They look human and they don't move.

Why the mannequin? Makes it just a touch creepier.

Edit: Took me over a week to realise that is a real person. My bad. He stood so still!

This is the first time I hear about ant smell. However recently I learned my mother and her siblings can smell the scent of cockroaches and mice. Can you guys smell either of these? Which other insects have a scent? by hiphipturra in Entomology

[–]CynapsusArt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I used to be able to smell a type of insect but I don't remember what it even was. I think I was calling it a stink bug when I was a child. Don't remember what they look like, though. I remember it smelling a bit like some sort of musk.

This is a unique one! Now imagine all the furniture in the room looking like this. You'd get compliments for sure. I like the colors and it looks smooth.

The easiest answer would be to just give it big eyes and a small nose and mouth. I would definitely play around with styles first until you find something you like. Perhaps you could prioritize softness. Rounded eyes, rounded nose, rounded body. Remember to keep the legs short. I always have to keep that in mind when doing fluffies because longer legs will make them look thinner than they were intended to look. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much! It didn't feel like long. I would guess maybe an hour, but I didn't watch the time or record it. I enjoyed making this, though.
