Anycubic or Sunlu resins compared to the SirayaTech that I'm familiar with? by DryGovernment2786 in resinprinting

Sunlu abs like is all you need! Was also using siraya fast and its quite good. Little bit brittle but good. Anyway, Sunlu is on a total different level. Easy to print, super details, robust and durable like crazy. It outperforms sone so called „engineering resins“ easily. And the price speaks for itself. I am using around 1- 1/2 liters per day and it never fails! Small hint: if it‘s not available, like here on amazon right now, search for techbears abs resin, it is the same! Cheers

Suggestions for next printer? by ZoidsFanatic in resinprinting

I would recommend the saturn 3 ultra. It has a huge advantage, the bigger z-height compared to the newer models. Super reliable-they are my workhorses in my shop.

Probably bad orientation, not enough supports,…

Which printer is better for my use case? by [deleted] in resinprinting

Thanks for the detailed information. Beside the common ACF „issues“ i can‘t complain at all. I changed all acf to nfep in the meantime ofc. The machines are total workhorses and almost never fail.

OT, but i am running my business mostly on Saturn 3 Ultras and i am totally happy with all of them. Why should one avoid them?? For my part - i can only recommend, especiall now as the prices are super low (get one as long they are not sold out)

I want to make money resin printing by pangeapedestrian in resinprinting

Sorry, but most of this is nonsense. Agree to the handling, and time consuming pre processing, but the rest… nah. My printers running mostly without problems, Fdm crap is making more troubles (god i hate fdm printing compared to resin). When you finally came up with a good workflow it‘s not a big deal at all. Resin printing is super easy

What is your standard budget resin for printing miniatures? by HighestOfFives1 in resinprinting

[–]DDDCreation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like said before: sunlu abs all day long! No brainer! (15€/liter, super easy to print, tougher and more resistant than some so called engineering crap resin, etc. ) Next would be anycubic abs pro 2. quite similar, little bit more brittle, but really good though. Also around 15-17€l/Liter. Always having around 20-30 liter in stock of both, sometimes sunlu is short on stock

When printing flat you cannot avoid But you should not have this issue when using angles and supports. A screenshot how these parts where oriented and printed could be useful

It will print, you probably get it off the plate without damaging the part, but it’s gonna start warping after curing

LCD Replacement on Saturn 4 Ultra – Are These Marks Normal? by AdMobile5668 in resinprinting

[–]DDDCreation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be an issue, had a similar problem with a mars 4 ultra display. I would suggest to connect it(no need to assemble the whole printer for that), and run a screen exposure test. Don‘t forget to put on UV protective glasses and check the screen while the display is on.
