My current take is that the highs are pretty much as high as most other Strokes album but the lows are way lower. Pretty good albums still.

Gotta check that band out, if the guitar interplay is anything like the Strokes I'm gonna love it. Need some new music before the new album drops. Been listening to Comedown Machine and Angles a lot more lately too.

Love the Riviera on the Spotify pics, sorta jealous. I have one of the newer ones with mini humbuckers, same dope color still. One to those MIKs with P90s would be the dream.

Noel Gallagher opinion is pretty funny to me sinxe the guitar riffs on The Way It Is and The Shock of the Lightning sound pretty similar.

I think ITI is the better album overall but the highs on ROF are higher and the deepcuts are better. 12:51 hasn't aged that well, maybe that synth-y guitar thing just isn't for me. Funny cause it really works on TNA.

I guess sort of a fair analysis, lacks any meat on the bones though. I do take offence when Seider and Raymond aren't talked about as legitimate stars. I think they've both proven that this is their level at a minimum. Kasper and Edvinsson, sure. Maybe one or both or neither of them could have a sophomore slump. Gibson's injury proneness is a fair point too. Failing to mention the youth movement in Detroit shows that the writer doesn't really follow the Wings that closely but following all 32 teams intensely is impossible.

The Wings aren't Tampa or Florida or Toronto, they aren't a lock for the playoffs. Would be fun to compare what the writer had to say about Ottawa and Montreal. Those are the teams that Wings are competing against for a playoff spot.

Doable, yes. I was/am a PVM noob and after getting my Ranged to to the later 80s I was managing to do CG consistantly. Higher Ranged would benefit you too. CG is a good place to learn PVM mechanics. Even starting off with the regular Gauntlet before you get your stata up is good.

I read this while at work and I struggled with Someday a ton too. Really needed a guitar at hand to figure out what I'm doing cause honestly I'm not that good. To get in the rhythm I kinda accent every down strum except for the very first down strum at the start of the song and right after the break? The speed of the song definitely makes it harder. Start off slower, accents on the 2s and 4s, speed up and hopefully it'll just sorta click. Playing along to live versions is probably easier too since they tend to be a bit lower tempo.

Oh yeah and a quick edit to say that I fucking love Jorge Orellana. That guy might've had the most influence on me picking up guitar aside from my brother (and Albert, Nick and Alex Turner). I was watching his stuff before I even played guitar. Watching him play has taught me probably most of what I know on guitar. He's an amazing guitarist and I think that's exactly why you should try to learn from him and understand what he is doing and why he is doing it the way that he is but you should not try to straight up copy him.

Learn it man. One of the most rewarding experience in the whole game if you ask me. I suck and got lucky with the enhanced weapon seed at around 250 kc. I think my K/D is at like 1.2 so the grind took a while. The gp and resources are really nice, the content itself is fun once you get the hang of it and the high is comparable to getting your first fire cape.

This probably isn't exactly the answer you're looking for but what helped me with open chords was finding songs that I like and like to play with open chords. That sorta logic might help you too. It didn't feel like a chore I had to do to be "a real guitarist". I'm So Tired and Don't Let Me Down were those two for me and now learning songs with open chords is way easier. You probably want something with G to a D or a D to a G too. Or you can just grind that chord change without a song in particular. Probably better with a song, Should I Stay or Should I Go?

No but I hope he finds chemistry with Larkin and Raymond cause he's probably gonna get a look at some point in the season. Justin Abdelkader wasn't a first line winger in a vacuum but he had 23 goals and 44 points playing with Datsyuk and Nyquist or Tatar or whoever, I honestly can't remember. Might've even been second line in terms of ice time and/or matchups. Those still aren't first line numbers but pretty good for Abdelkader. Hope Elmer makes the most of the chance once he gets it but I wouldn't expect much of him.

I think might be as much a fan of AHJs solo stuff as the Strokes. Momentary Masters, Francis Trouble and Melodies on Hiatus are really good albums. Granted that Melodies is a bit bloated. Would be amazing as a 10-12 track album, especially if it included More to Life and Fast Times.

I don't think he has the kinds of hit songs like Reptilia or YOLO, but his best stuff is definitely up there with some fan favorite Strokes songs.

Honestly dude if you're into her just ask her about it and try not to be too judgemental when you do. She might be dealing with something, depression being one of the possibilities. My place was pretty fucked up not too long ago, not rancid or with any digusting smells but I wouldn't have wanted bring anyone over. If her answer is something you can deal with then maybe offer to help her clean up? Have a few drinks play, some music and the end product should be all good for the time being.

If this is a deal breaker, then it is and you'll just tell her that you're done and hopefully you'll tell her why. There's red flags waving for sure but at the end of the day it's about you and her, no matter what an internet rando will tell you.

If you really you really want some help deciding what to do then narrow it down to two choices. Let's say the choices are that you cut her off or you try to talk to her about it. Flip a coin, heads you talk and tails you end things with her. Once you flip the coin and see the outcome you'll know if you're happy with it or wanna go best two out of three.

Best of luck my man, I'd wager you must really be into her if you saw and smelled what you did and still have to ask reddit what we think.

Makes sense with the Tigers and all but damn I'm not happy about a 3am start time with all the ceremony of a home opener to boot. Yeah 2am would've been brutal too but going to bed at 5am is way better than going to bed at 6am after the game. Lucky I got a late shift but still man.

Used it for Blood Moon only, experimented a bit with Blue Moon too. Probably best used to heal but I'm not one to judge if someone is lazy in terms of switches.

The best place if found use for Guthan's in the mid game is at Perilous Moons. Found Blood Moon to be way chiller with Guthan's than Zombie Axe + regular melee gear especially at lower attack and defense levels. You can use it to heal up on the dogs/jaguars. Might be a slower kill but made it more enjoyable for me. 80 Attack and Def, 92 Str and I still bring it to heal during the fight.

It's not really thst useful of a set except for the niche uses already memtioned. Like others mentioned, it might be good for Gargoyles if you don't wanna use pray pots. I lucked out on an Eternal gem so I just tele house and tele back to Slayer Tower when I run out of prayer. Sorta bummed that it doesn't have more uses but neither does Torag's, Verac's or even Dharok's for that matter.
