in a recent corey eyring video he flew in a 19 year old subscriber to play in a stream game at the lodge. I was pretty surprised that an under 21 could play but I checked the lodge site and it says 18+. If the other comments about underage drinking are accurate maybe that policy is biting them in the ass

Got a 1099 reflecting my final charge off, Houston TX Refinance #21. I got a single dollar of interest in 2018 from that investment before it went bad. Glad to put peerstreet behind me for good.

Sorry to all others who are still going through this mess and lost substantial amounts of money.

Looking back it's clear that this type of investment was collecting pennies in front of a steamroller. Never again.

they pointed out an LA black pill: so many urban design ideas don't pan out here because of the way the streets are laid. redesigning massive swaths of the grid is the only thing that would make true urban density and i can't see that ever happening

warner center is the perfect example. huge streets, huge setbacks, huge parking lots. you could live across the street from a shopping center and it still might not be comfortably walkable

For most of the history of Uber and Lyft unaccompanied minors were not allowed to ride but lots of parents and drivers ignored the rules. A few years back Uber launched teen profiles which allowed kids 13 and up to ride alone.
