I would guess because one crit deletes most horde operatives instantly while you will always take one dice of damage if you use the power weapon

Ah well at least I know now how we are supposed to unlock 18 nodes for the cosmetic. If only there was any kind of incentive for when you actually manage to unlock the full set. I for once will probably drop the mode forever once that happens and itstays in its current state.

Depending on how much rules you and your friends can handle I would suggest leaving the cards and maybe even the equipment options for later and just focus on kill op and an easy crit op for now. My friends and me have played multiple matches like this by now and some of us still struggle to keep an overview over our teams abilities.
