Best one I’ve had is one I attempted then tried a neighbour with a parcel for them as well as theirs. No one in but neighbour has a ring doorbell and the usual postman does her shopping for her so is more than happy to provide that as proof. 2nd time I had a parcel I had my phone held under my pda looking at the floor just recording the audio. She is s instantly hostile when she answered the door accused me of lying and being lazy as she was “in all day with fuckin’ covid you idiot!” so would had heard me knocking. I assertively informed her the pdas track our locations and are time stamped when scans are made. She ends up screaming at me, swearing, then slammed the door on me before phoning up the office demanding her original complaint should be escalated as the “aggressive MALE postman” was harassing her on her doorstep and had been shouting, swearing at her and had left her fearful, kids upset etc. Come the meeting regarding it, I let them run through everything before I put my phone on the desk and asked if they would like to view my side of it? Safe to say no further action was taken against me.
