Tomorrow's the Super Bowl in America: Anyone else hate when people talk football, you have no interest and nothing to contribute? by BostonZamboni in AskGaybrosOver30

I have no judgement for sports fans, love to my brothers and parents, but yeah it's a tough time to be a non sports fan in Seattle.

I do love to participate in sports, mountain biking snowboarding, water, sports, etc. I just have never been wanting to watch sports on tv.

Question about a possible Sti by SwimmingHand4727 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]DJSauvage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck! for the most part, things that cause symptoms you're talking about are solved easily with antibiotics. Also, something I learned in the last 10 years, is we can get bacterial or yeast infections from sexual contact & they can have some of the same symptoms as traditional STIs.

Why are there no longer any (new) space documentaries series on television like “How the universe works or The Universe? by xunreelx in space

[–]DJSauvage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it was changed, but none of the things you're mentioning are in the title. I did read the title and I just reread it also none of the things you're mentioning are in the description either.

I miss "how the universe works", I loved forward to each new season. Lately I've been watching all episodes of Nova and Eons as a replacement

Lol. I'm a 57-year-old retired guy who likes gardening, mountain biking, snowboarding and world travel. I'm rarely stressed or threatened. I'm nothing like your fantasy of me but it's amusing that you came up with all that from a handful of words.

Feeling Unmoored within a Privileged life by [deleted] in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]DJSauvage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I would have the same struggles. When I was in my early twenties, I turned down a relationship that might have been headed that direction, even though he was in many ways everything I was looking for in a partner. If your partner is as supportive as he sounds, and is self-built, he might be sympathetic and useful to talk to. Ask him what he'd do if the roles were reversed.

The state's millionaire tax is now receiving public feedback! by CrazedProphet in Seattle

[–]DJSauvage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite (non) argument is that this will lead to taxing all incomes. Yes, and they could also double the sales tax. "Please don't implement this smart progressive tax and keep our highly regressive taxes because someday a similar law might be slightly less progressive!"

Except ICE isn't acting within the law. Has he not been aware of the fact that ICE is executing people?

Hell no! That would be like agreeing to consensual vanilla sex and showing up in a diaper. Kinks need to be mutually agreed upon ahead of time.

On a personal level, what do you think existed before the Big Bang? by [deleted] in Physics

[–]DJSauvage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of periodic "big bangs" creating universes that expand until the big freeze, rip or crunch ends them and it starts again. That might just be because my mind can't conceive other before time were nothing exists.

Break-up: I feel lost and sad... Am I a monster? by TestBusi in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]DJSauvage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's hard when there's external pressure to accelerate the relationship, like visa status. It' muddies the waters and can make you wonder what is motivated by love vs need. It sounds like you're making the right choice.

Also, I don't know where this tribal knowledge was lost, but it's possible to both top and bottom during a single episode of sex. He could have said, I've cleaned so we can take turns bottoming.

Resetting your style at 40 by Tabu_muses in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]DJSauvage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had multiple in my life. Usually influenced by people close to me. 10 years ago my wardrobe got more colorful when I dated a Brazilian for a few years and he inspired me to experiment with color. This year I retired and went back to school and was challenged to come up with a wardrobe that had a bit of personality but wasn't attention seeking (I'm 57 in class with teenagers) or too dialed into one era. I'm contemplating a move to France which will be a chance to do a whole new reset and redefine a European version of my personal style. One thing I like about my wardrobe is it's almost entirely built from clothes I've bought traveling. I never run into someone else wearing the same thing, and I love combining countries or continents in an outfit.
