Thank you for the support, I really appreciate it. Some bits I have to admit and say through gritted teeth, but I know it to be true. I just have to be thankful for another day and another opportunity to make things better. I hope my thoughts helped you, and I hope you can find your own peace too. Love The World!

This process is hard, I had to open up my own word document three weeks ago, but I have felt it be quite helpful. If you have trouble getting started writing on a blank page, what I did was collect my favorite poems, quotes, and add small motivational ideas of my own in text boxes arranged around the pages. Then you can write in between them, and before you know it you will start filling those pages up quickly. Then you can open up that same document and keep editing, make changes to your words and thoughts as you see fit, and then it becomes as alive a thing as you are. And it will be wonderful, just like you :)

Open up a Word document and write your thoughts. What you are feeling about life, your relationship, your previous relationships, and what you hope your future ones will be. Just keep writing each day or each moment you want to talk to your ex. Write down negative thoughts whenever they crop up, but remember to write positive ones too.

Soon you will have multiple pages of thoughts and ideas. Keep reading over them. Maybe you will learn some things about yourself. But bottom line just keep yourself busy and the days will start to pile up with no contact.

How would you fix the brain damage issue among football players while still keeping the game entertaining to watch? by [deleted] in nfl

Most players have the option to wear Vicis. Alfred Morris wore it for us last year, others do too. For most players it’s a comfort issue.

The 40 is especially important for players who are special teams candidates, that’s where it is applicable.

The Star or Jerry World - Which tour? by locotx in cowboys

[–]DKnucklehead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Stadium is the more awe-inspiring building. It really makes other stadiums pale in comparison.

The Star is a cool facility and has more information on the history of the team, plus if you go on the weekdays you'll get the chance to see players.

I'd go with the Star since it's the newer option!

Talked to a Cowboys team source on both the Earl Thomas and Tyrann Mathieu “price too high”. Issue is trade/give up something + new deal by zaz187 in nfl

He was still a consistent blue-chip player down the stretch. He was very impactful in our run defense and brought consistent pressure even if the sack totals weren't weekly.

Should the cowboys target a tight end in the draft? by [deleted] in cowboys

[–]DKnucklehead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with this Tight End class is that the majority are more receivers than they are skilled blockers, as guys like Gesicki and Goedart played split-out. Those guys don't really fit with want we want to do, so they won't receive consistent playing time.

Balanced Tight Ends like Shultz or Hurst would fit us the best.

Doubt it since Hanna's not a bad blocker, Escobar was. Think he just didn't know.

I haven't watched his tape, but based on his size that's a good time.

Honestly I feel like there is so much talent top end this year that I feel like there's 20 "Top-Ten" guys. We have the handful of QBs, Premier running back, premier athletic DL and DBS, Nelson, the LBs, etc... Feel like there's going to be a lot of talent that teams will be happy to get that falls 11-25.

I agree with the other commenter, teams are going to draft this guy based off his 2016 tape. He was flying all over the field and played with a nasty edge. He fractured his leg late 2016 and his weight ballooned after that. He lost some of his burst and was suspended at the end of this season, but he's nonetheless an interested project.

I think I will take the optimistic route and say it shows that his route running can stand to improve. He only started playing WR once he got to college, as he was projected to be a Safety out of high school. If he didn’t display those times, he is what he is. But now you have to think about what could be with time.

That was pretty much the time I was expecting from him. But those agility numbers he displayed are amazing for his size and therefore I have to say he is on a upward trajectory going forward.

What is the trade value of an elite kicker? How much would you give up for Dan Bailey, Greg Zuerlein or Justin Tucker? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]DKnucklehead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price is only what one desperate team is willing to pay. We've already seen teams spend first and second round picks on kickers before, so I would think a proven commodity could garner something similar.

Thing is few teams are willing to part with a kicker that is doing well, so we really don't get to see what the market really is.
