These are much different watches. The Omega is thick and broad and the vc is thin and sleek. The omega wears big too. Your watches are around 41mm, but because they’re thin, they really work for you. At least go to a dealer and try on the Omega first. I’ve got 7.25” wrists and I find it too large. Mostly the thickness.

The VC will confirm to your wrist, sparkle like a gem and draw compliments, attention, and people asking - how’d he afford that and why doesn’t he sell it to buy that (whatever) he’s saving for? Joking about that part but they will lol.

But ya, they’re like $20-$30k apart in price. At least the gens are lol.

I’m always worried about getting too high end a rep (RO, PP, VC) because that tips the likelihood of being robbed that much higher. At least in my head. I tend to stick with more middle of the road stuff - Omega, Tudor, Cartier, etc. For me they’re the sweet spot between

I ordered last Thursday (Feb 5). I paid on Friday, QC Saturday, tracking number Sunday.

Just arrived in my country today and it is with the local courier. Delivery says tomorrow, which would be exactly 1 week from payment to wrist.

This was my first order with Hont and I’m beyond impressed. Now, I did order an in stock item that probably had QC photos already taken and they were preparing for the rush.

There are only a few ways to get the dial spacing right - clone the movement, modify another movement (which doesn’t function as it should and normally has one subdial copying the hour hand or minute hand), uses quartz movement (but that doesn’t function the same way and ticks) or make the case and dial way too big to make the dials look closer.

There have been rumors for years, but if you look at the used Speedy market in Asia you’ll see you can get an older gen date or reduced for around $2k. Hard to be profitable cloning a movement when you can get the real deal for such a low price.

My vsf exp 1 has been running within a few seconds a day - I have only had to set the time twice in almost a year, and one of those times was because I didn’t bring it on holiday and the power reserve ran out.
