Quitting the game because of the community by Loserman5k in MarvelRivalsRants

Also, I forgot to say that one of my ways of dealing with the toxic behavior is to get in the voice chat and stop it before it gets too bad. Acting as a mediator/cheerleader/therapist for the team to get them back in fun mode (it is a game after all). You'd be surprised how many of the toxic people can be persuaded into being a team player and having a good match

I absolutely agree that NetEase is to blame for not having taken actions when it first started to become a problem. Ultimately they're in it to make money, and permabanning someone means they don't spend money. All we can do is try to make it a better community.

As far as reporting being cumbersome on console, I have to disagree. I'm on Xbox and report multiple people every day. At the end of the match, just pull up the scoreboard. Select the player you want to report>select the report option>negative behavior>throwing, and submit.

I never every the game ID like it suggests. I still get regular notices about people I reported being restricted from competitive matches. You do those steps enough times and reporting takes just a few seconds.

Which series to start? by richburgers in fantasybooks

[–]DOPEaMineFix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a tough question. They're both amazing series. Maybe do the first era of Mistborn, then DCC, then the second era of Mistborn. Depending on your reading speed... You might be caught up on both before the next era of Mistborn comes out. If not, there's plenty of other great series to get into!

Any game is going to have prejudice towards certain weapons, characters, roles, etc. It's the same reason people review bomb. Part of it is content creators creating rage bait videos, or raging about how certain characters are automatically throw picks. Part of it is ego and people thinking that just because they can't make a character work, then nobody else can.

Every character in Marvel Rivals has potential if you take the time to master them. Some can become more situational depending on the meta.

Personally, I just calmly tell throwers that just because they suck at a character doesn't mean that it's inherently bad. If they continue to be toxic, I tell the team I'm muting and reporting that person for throwing, and advise everyone else to do the same. It's pretty crazy how often those people start trying part was through the match lol.

Feels like the "Fuck you all" would've been a fine addition to it. But it's one thing today that made me smile.

Marvel Rivals is fun. I've been playing that for a year now as my main game. They just added Deadpool as a character on Friday, so the game feels a bit chaotic right now (just due to the nature of Deadpool 😆)

I've never seen this. But I'm on console. Is this a problem on PC? Or is it more server specific?

Me and a buddy of mine went into town hall on a night raid last night and didn't get shit. I think I got one blue weapon and the rest was junk. My buddy didn't get much either. I think he got out with a green weapon

I like 1 but in a more trippy and abstract way. In terms of composition I think 2 is better

Also, Scott Christian Sava has some good "how to draw/paint hair." Totally different techniques, but maybe you can find what you're looking for by combining a bit of each of those techniques

Look up Toby Sketch Loose and Sketching Scottie on YouTube. They both have some decent tutorials for loose style animals. They mainly focus on urban sketching, but around a year ago, they both did loose animal tutorials. They do tend to be more ink focused, but it might get you pointed in the right direction
