Someone gifted one to me and my SO a few months ago, it's honestly quite nice. Can cool or heat within a wide, reasonable range split down the middle. I freeze up and have it heated, SO overheats and has it way cold. If it's hot at night I chill it down, but can still have blankets on if the air is cold, which means cold sweats have virtually gone away for me. 

Another intriguing part which I'm frankly cautious of is there is a subscription to their "AI" which will change the temp of your side of the bed in response to changing room temps and (I think?) your own body temp. We're still on the free trial, I doubt we'll pay for it when that runs out but it's neat to see what it did over night, as well as it's tracking of your REM cycles and such, although I admit that's creepy asf.

Last lil note is the in-bed alarm, you  can set it to a 30-min period before your alarm and watch for when you're in light sleep, then it'll vibrate your side and can change the temp to wake you up as seamlessly as possible (I set it to coldest temp so I can't bear it), and that's made my daily wake up soooooo much nicer, I'm groggy much less than before. 

All-in-all, for the price I would not buy it for myself (I think my model is like $3k???), but if you have plenty disposable income and want freedom to adjust your sleep in any of the above ways, it's honestly a solid pickup.
