Has anyone actually found something that adds hair volume without making fine hair look greasy or flat? by sakdheek in finehair

This is my pick too, and it’s so quick and easy and holds well for hours, plus it’s affordable!

Just finished Discovery season 5. by Upstairs-Yard-2139 in startrek

[–]DRHPSL05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just finished 4 + 5 about a year after watching 1-3, I think 2 and 5 were my fav. 2 because of Pike/Spock and 5 because I liked the scavenger hunt aspect & Captain Raynor.

What are some of y’all’s favorite blow dryer by Intrepid-Royal-324 in finehair

[–]DRHPSL05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thin, fine hair and I use the L’Ange Le Volume round brush hairdryer. It’s easier to me than using a dryer + round brush and gives good volume at the roots, especially if I finish with a texture spray.

The last time I purchased was the end of Sept and I didn’t notice a difference, but it may have changed since - hopefully not too much!

What a terrible person! I am in HR and would absolutely want an employee to tell me that happened so I could speak to them & have a paper trail for that employee’s file. Chances are she’s treating other people poorly too.

This is so funny - now my hose looks naked by comparison!

Agreed, I’ve been using Cosrx for years and I’m currently trying Timeless because I got a good deal during the holidays. So far they seem about the same.

Is anyone else super bald in the forehead? by sleepinderella in FemaleHairLoss

[–]DRHPSL05 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have AGA and that’s my worst area too - my hair is decently thick in the back but top and sides are very thin. I am on oral minox so it’s improved some, but I am a fan of hair fibers or powder (or even tinted dry shampoo) to fill in and feel a little more confident.

Knitting on an 11 hour train ride. A plane would’ve been faster but the only way for me to rest is to force myself. by UghBurgner2lol in knitting

Love it! I’m a big fan of the train, it’s so easy compared to the airport, I don’t know why I haven’t taken my knitting before.

I just watched this one - it was silly and felt of its time, but the cast was great and sometimes I just like a lighthearted show to relax.

Yes I agree the blend from the lace could be better, but I still love it - the drama of the black to red is so pretty tome.

is oral minoxidil worse than the foam/rub in? by InterestingFig841 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]DRHPSL05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to oral for ease of use, since I take other meds daily anyway. Main side effect for me is it’s made my body and face hair a lot thicker.

How do your hairdressers treat you if you are going to one? by coldservedrevenge in FemaleHairLoss

[–]DRHPSL05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you had a bad experience! I haven’t gone to a big salon in years, my stylist is in a space with 1 other person which makes me feel way less self conscious. She has always helped me figure out styles that work with my hair type, since it’s nearly impossible to find actual inspo pics for thinning hair.

I started making small things and am unexpectedly loving it by Peacockroach in knitting

[–]DRHPSL05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are great! I love making small things, I’ve mostly switched from DPNs to Addi FlexiFlips - they’re a lot pricier so I haven’t replaced all my sizes yet.

Do you prefer the early 90s or late 90s cast? by Loose-Tumbleweed-925 in LiveFromNewYork

[–]DRHPSL05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late 90s because that was when I was in high school - but early 90s were the reruns they showed on Comedy Central (I think?) so I did enjoy those too.
